My town has the Johnny Appleseed festival every last weekend in September and I typically celebrate by baking apple cobbler with oats and pecans. We watch a witchy movie, do house blessings and build a scarecrow for the porch. Picked up your book at my local metaphysical shop this weekend as well-can't wait to dig in!!

Nothing says autumn like the oyster festival in Halifax. Nova Scotia colours are amazing this time of year as well. Drive through rural NS and many driveways are selling their garden produce and pumpkin contests abound.

We have Moon Festival here in Taiwan, and for the last few decades the biggest way to celebrate is with an outdoor barbecue under the moon with your family (a very shrewd barbecue-sauce company gets the credit for the barbecue idea!). Be careful not to point at the moon that night, though. Chang Er will snip your earlobes! 🌕 🐰

I love giving blessing jars of various types to people on special occasions! If I'm not sure how they'll react if they catch on to the witchy nature of the gift, I call them "wish jars" so they won't get rankled or offended.
