Well this was a nice pleasant surprise seeing Laura back with her dad, with the rest of the crew from Laura Farms. Did I see Laura teaching dad at one point! 🙂 I bet dad misses his daughter a lot since she left the nest. Lots of love from Mike. ❤
Most of this video is father/daughter in the combine cab. The best caption for all that time: mutual respect. This is what a parent/adult child relationship should look like. Well done Cale (and Meghan) and Laura.
I've been watching now for about a year. I live in San Diego, CA and come from a long line of city workers but have always been curious about what farming is like. Must be because I went to an engineering and agriculture college. Thanks for the education. I'm really enjoying it. I also watch Laura's channel.
If I could give more than one thumbs up I would- I love watching Laura and Grant and farm hand Gage and this is so neat for you collaborate with your Daughter- You have great content on your channel too 👍👍 I watch both channels
That was the best video I have seen so far. I just loved Laura telling dad what to do. I wished they would have had Cale driving while Grant was in buddy seat of the green combine. It would have been cool to see if he was as nervous as Laura.
Great to see family working together! You have great children as son in law. You should be very proud of them as the next generations of farmers. I enjoy both your posts and u tube channels.
Can see where Laura's gets her ❤️ of farming: Grandpa and Dad. 😎 Great to see Laura teaching and Dad learning. My kids teach me: My engineer son and my in 6 month daughter MD. They give me hope for the future.
Great video. So interesting to see both yours & Laura’s/Grant’s operation. From a dairy farmer in Ireland. Totally different businesses but similar problems & challenges affecting us all.
I’m a greenskeeper at a golf course. I’m looking forward to learning how to operate a new Kubota MX 5400. I’ve operated a 1940s John Deere model B. That was at my grandparents farm. And a late 60s Ford 1720 with the bucket on it. For mowers I run a Jacobson LF 3400 fairway mower. And a Toro 3400 greensmaster for mowing greens. ⛳️ My father owns an Allis Chalmers model G tractor. Our lawn mower is a John Deere D130. 😁
Where to start that was crazy pulling up next to Laura's combine. Cale wait until you watch how nervous Laura is when your driving her combine. Your chatting it up and her head is on a swivel frantically reaching over and hitting buttons. Such a great video for you guys working together and chatting it up. Great video for both you and Laura's channels.
Did Grant ever say how he liked the case? I would of enjoy seeing all of you having lunch and chatting, bet that was fun. Both farms videos are the best, keep them coming please. Thanks
this is an awesome video, nice job. i was hoping you got drone footage of this major event , then at the end i heard laura say there was an eye in the sky... looking forward to seeing that..thank you so much for what you do
When I was growing up, my dad always told us kids that we will always learn something new. The only time we stop learning is when we’re dead. I’m 48 now and he’s passed away, and I can’t stop thinking how right he was.
Daughter teaching dad how cool !! Me and my dad worked together for years. He taught me how to run a 450, 650 and 850 Case dozer and a R model tandem Mack and many other pieces of equipment. I wouldn’t take anything for those days !
I know this is the LEAAD Farms channel and If I'm following along, Dad is helping daughter with the fall harvest using different machines. So, Laura comes from a farming family...How about Grant? Does he come from a farming family? I like the contrast between Case and John Deere. Nothing wrong with Case equipment and I like the red color better. Great video.
Well - I love the family collaboration, always nice to see you two working together. But BTW, IMHO you should write also "Laura Farms" in the title, I think there are still to many people outside there which dont realize that here is a great farming channel which is directly related to one of the best, maybe THE best North American farming channels and you just deserve a lot of more channel subscribers, I dont understand why there are not thousands more here. 2025 has to be the year for Cales silver playbutton - period! 🙃🙂 Greetings from Germany, have a productive time! ☺
Always kind of hard to see your child switch colors on you, and then start explaining all of the advantages of having done so kind of shoves the knife in a little. I can foresee some upgrades on the big red machine in the coming year. Seriously, it is heartwarming to witness your child showing all that she has learned starting with the things that you and your father taught her.
What is weird about this episode is at about 3:45 the video plays opposite. In other words the door on Cale’s combine is to his right, and he is unloading grain to the right, as played on tv and my mobile phone. It is backward and difficult to watch haha because the mind expects the opposite, for example, the door in the left, from the driver’s perspective (Cale), the auger on the left side, and loading the grain cart on the left. Only started watching and stopped to comment. I’m like, wait, wait … what? Haha although still fun to watch.
