Harvesting Dried Peas 

It was time to harvest the dried peas. Some peas were starting to fall out of the pods. First, we removed all the vines from along the fence. Then, we sat in the shade and removed the pods from the vines. Next, we removed all the dried peas from the pods. I placed the peas on a couple of kitchen towels for days to make sure they were dry before storing them in a large mason jar. I’ll use the dried peas in soups and dishes. I might cook them with dried beans to see how they do.
