It would be wonderful if you could do an episode that explains the types of grain, What they look like, what they are used for, why each one is different to harvest, why do you plant so many different types, how the harvester is prepared to tackle each type, and any other details. I love the the Harvest and now I would love to see some details
Another excellent video ,i really like the drone shots ,as not only very well done but gives a sense of of peace and the size of your paddocks. Also that the whole family works so well together and that sadly if often not the case these days
Matt, you Phil and Brad .. along with Jd and the rest of the crew under the Guidance of Peter.. a.k.a the boss .. are doing a great job .. cudo's to you all and families for putting up with all involved,Love the content both production wise and all up help wise around the Farm.s no greater love or spirit can compare ...
That’s some excellent aerial footage. Matt you’re pretty good at operating that drone. You guys operate like a finely tuned machine. I like how you all do a lot of preventive maintenance on your machines, it definitely proves to be effective when you’re under the gun and pushing a lot of crops through them. I have similar beliefs… fix them when they’re not needed so your not caught fixing them when they are needed. Lol. I also like how you all take pride in your work. Except that ignition switch! Lol just kidding!! I’ve done that very same thing before. Lol have a wonderful day, and thank you for sharing. This is my favorite channel on RU-vid.
Personally I think it would be a good idea to get the marker pen out and mark those bins 1 to 4 before there is a cockup 😂😂I had a ignition switch like that for a while keys are over rated 😂
You guy’s are doing a great job of get’n er done nice work ! Get better soon all its no fun with everyone getting sick . Loved the drone flight Matt thanks.
Handy tip for dumping into swing away augers, back up the the end not the side. the grain flows into the auger better and quicker with less splash back
Glad harvest has gone off with very few issues. Hopefully those fires stay well away, they always give me the runs & I'm over the ditch so not as close.
Hey Matt I fergot to ask you after the harvest do your family have end of year party to celebrate the harvest if you do can you post some so we can see all the Families cheers by the way your dad is areal cool dad hope you are proud of him 👍👍🙏😀😀😀
Great drone footage and the super Solomon was impressive. No moisture problems at Moree area this year. We got 28 mm out of that stormy weather in early November which was a nice follow up from the last one. So now I assume the marketing starts. Holding over 12 months of organic wheat seems unusual. How do you manage the insect issuer in organic wheat?
Matt, you and the family should have been in lockdown/ quarantine so pops and the rest wouldn’t have got crook. And you wouldn’t be up to your ankles in snotty tissues 🤧🤧🤧😷.👍🏴
Great stuff again mate! Can you please explain a couple of things.... (for the dum dum's like me) when you put the auger up onto the top of the silo, do you have to climb up there and open the hatch or is there a cable/pulley system to open it ? Also, do you have to clean out the augers before using a different product through it? Thanks
Thanks! I use epidemic sound and try to pick more relaxing songs so people can enjoy them rather then the rock stuff, I use a lot by Will Harrison and Joyspring👍😁
Okay this might sound stupid but I've been around and in farming along time but I've never farmed Lent seed. Is that a type of Oats or Barley or something? Just carouses is why I'm asking. we don't have that over her in the states that much.
@@thejacksonbrothers Thank you.😊😊 I Do really enjoy your farming videos. Wonderful landscapes captured with the drone. 🌟🌟All good. Congratulations with your farming personnel & cereals' production.

@@jefftheaussie2225 Rubish todays farmers need more education and need to learn farming ..Yes farming is hard ,I remember farmers in a dusty field on their Massey Furgeson ,,now days they sit in air cond tractors with G P S air ride seat ..I’m just saying that today is better ways of farming
@@jesstill7833 Don’t worry, I have been that person on the Massey Fergusson, or Chamberlain. It was never easy, we still have the weather as the main input. Farmers have to have many qualifications but the main one is resilience. Farmers have to be adaptable and they are, it is the only way to survive. By the way I have a tertiary Ag qualification from the mid 70s when it meant something (HAC) but there was much more to my farming education than that. We also learnt to spell, rubbish has 2 bs. Jeff
