How come clothing wasn't mentioned? It's already done! Well, using the natural silk. But think of the uses of such material for clothing: practically weightless, yet strong and if it is anything like the Golden Orb silk... feels luxurious and flooks fabulous - I can see it replacing standard silk in many products, and eventually perhaps even satin once the price comes down.
