This was soooo much fun!! I was so excited LOL. There's just something about growing your own food!!!! The name of the purple sweet potato is Murasaki. They contain antioxidants known as anthocyanins. Can not wait to eat these!!!! Have a blessed day ya'll!!!! Lord willing, we will see ya on the next video~

I would bump the containers because they go deep. Awesome harvest.

So many different ways to use pomegranates. I know your family loves to taste test all your new recipes. Your videos bring peace and happiness to my heart and your dog makes me laugh all the time. Thank you for sharing yourself and your family with us. You give us much more than we could ever give you. And it's an honor to have you visit our channel, we can discuss more about our experiences in harvesting and building farms.

Murasaki had a lot of vines and roots but not so many taters. All of my orange fleshed varieties outyielded Murasaki. When planted in open ground, Murasaki was difficult to dig because the taters were all over the bed and into the row middles. I usually had one large tater near the vine base and several smaller ones scattered around. For example, 12 Murasaki slips yielded almost 60 lbs. Whereas, 12 Bayou Belle slips yielded a little over 100 lbs. I harvested the Bayou Belle at 100 days, and Murasaki at 120 days. The Bayou Belle taters were concentrated around the vine base.

That's a pretty good harvest. I have a raised carrot bed that put out a ton of carrots this year. Next year I am going to expand it and grow sweet taters, the Good Lord willing. I have never ate them but my wife loves them. But I love growing stuff on my fencerow, no big garden to speak of.
