I rly hate that some ppl are complaining about time gating exploration through 400 primos but if u think about it would u rather not have an extra 400 primos... Whale
I don't understand why people are complaining. They've had all of 5.0 and the rest of 5.1 to do natlan exploration, which I've found pretty easy. I got to over 80% in everything and 100% in one of the regions before 5.0 was over. I didn't do everything in a single day either, just by doing it slowly Some people are saying oh but this sucks for f2p players! f2p players are constantly on the hunt for primos, so most of them do a lot of exploration anyway???
IKR, even though I clear Abyss F12 quite often, clearing it from F9 all the way to F12 is no fun, and I usually postpone it until one-two days left before reset but now I already clear it up to F12, and actually I enjoyed this Abyss alot simply because we can skip to F11, definitely save a lot of time
For me the 5.1 AQ story is the main highlight, followed by the upcoming Nahida's birthday event. She's my main and a proper Sabzeruz Festival is long overdue. Xilonen, as playable, really shakes up the meta, but tbh I was planning to skip her had I lost my 50/50. Thankfully I didn't, so I got Neuvi's bis team comp now. Thankfully 5.2 won't have Mavuika yet so we can still save up for her.

I was really enjoying the Natlan experience, but as of a few days ago I’ve completed every Natlan quest and 100%’d all 4 areas in Natlan. Not having a new region in 5.1 kinda ruined all the Natlan momentum cause it feels like there isn’t anything to do now until 5.2 drops in a month. The main version event isn’t even until the second half of 5.1 either
i was really disappointed by no major new area :( but i hope that 5.2’s area is a banger to make up for it; felt weird to make one of the ‘hype phases’ of natlan so quiet in terms of explo
I also found it a bit strange that the big war happened when we only had access to half the map. Citlali must’ve been single-handedly defending the entire west side of Natlan by herself cause everyone else was fighting on the East side. If she’s that strong maybe she really will save Cryo
Archon quest was quite interesting, it was nice to see an actual war and the consequences of it in game. Usually they don't add this much detail I think. I've seen some people argue that the quest was too long and I disagree. Details are necessary for it to be immersive. I'm glad they didn't just use a black screen that said "and thus, a war broke out but you managed to quell the darkness of the abyss with the strength of the power rangers" All qol updates are welcome and this patch made a lot of things better. So yeah, I agree with what you say Juice.
The only thing that makes archon quest UGLY is that PAIMON has more lines than the Traveller and she talk to much like the traveller is just a NPC instead of the actual MC plus her annoying voice but the rest is good archon just noticed every dialog all the key characters explain things to PAIMON and replies to her instead of traveller the NPC 😂 garbage as the game progress
@@grimreaper3576 Yeah, Genshin will literally never fix Paimon. She was actually just speaking on behalf of him throughout the entire war, it got annoying after a bit
The Artifact Filter is sooooo annoying if you like playing around with different builds. The filter saves each pieces individually (Flower, Feather, Sands etc.). So it takes 15 clicks if you want to reset it. FIFTEEN!!! Imagine wanting to swap your DPS Raiden build to EM build. Now you have to click 15 times just to get your EM pieces. And when you want to swap back to DPS build, you have to click 15 times AGAIN!
I desperatly want them to finally add artifact loadouts to give one unit several artifact sets that can be switched with a button click. I don't even dare build my characters any other way than the meta way because I don't want to bother with changing my artifacts every time I want to play the other set and I'm also worried I get overwhelmed by all the artifacts.
You can have multiple artifact sets saved for the filter so I’ve found it pretty nice. For me, it’s made it easier to find those other pieces I usually change to depending on the situation.
Further increasing the resin efficiency is probably the number one way they can increase players game time and experience. Resin decides everything, even primogens aren't as limited as resin.
One thing I worry about is that a lot of the Natlan trends is lessening content instead of making it better. Less abyss floors. Less weekly reputations. Less farming to level characters (via tribal quest for the 5*). Honestly, less exploration and a lower difficulty in Natlan. If they don't add more non-reputation quests, we'll have less quests compared to other regions too. The ease of use QOL is fantastic though.
I just hope Mavuika's kits get leaked further before Xilonen's banner ends so that i can decide whether i can go for Xilonen's C2. So far I have little interest in Mavuila's leaked kits and her design doesn't impress me.
Well the official beta gameplay should drop by 5.2 a day after or so Which means xilonen wouldn't be available at that time so you should probably make a decision without the archon gameplay

they could do like in zzz where if you go to a talent domain from the crafting bench filtered on a specific character it tells you how many books you still need to get to the next talent level
I have a sneaking suspicion that the constant small updates on the artifact search functions are actually a step-by-step process for making loadouts. especially since the newest update focused on the *seperate artifact slots.* I think Hoyo is building it up slowly to make sure that all the search functions are working 100% perfectly and as intended, and I expect that one of the next updates will be the ability to save specific artifacts per slot in a 'box' or something, essentially making it a loadout function.
Artifact load outs would be fine, but is aimed more towards long-term players. I know I have a skewed view as a somewhat newer player (10 months), but the artifact change I'd love more than anything is the ability to filter by substats just like HSR. It makes it SO much easier to build characters which is what new players constantly do and even longer term players do with new characters. A second item I'd love even before load outs would be the ability to mark artifacts for trash on the reward screen (also like HSR). It is a daily thing where I see the rewards, know a piece is trash, and immediately realize I'm going to have to search through my entire inventory to find it later when I'm looking for upgrade/scrap options.
Good updates. What I really want is a way to respawn chests and puzzles after we 100% a region. I really want a way to farm for leveling items and primos.
I like the tool that helps you collect regional materials for characters, not sure when that was added but also WuWa added this feature too so I’m assuming that WuWa + Genshin competition is actually leading to both genshin and WuWa getting better.
I actually thought that the artifact filters are annoying because I switch my artifacts between characters, thus taking more time And the stats don’t always match depending on the piece, so even more clicking, at least in my experience
I actually like the new artifact filter Is tedious as heck to set up? Yes, but its very nice to lessen the time to find what artifacts the character uses. The fact you can make more than one is so jice for off pieces
Good improvements and I'm looking forward to more. They brought along Xilonen at the right time for me to stay invested. I'm very happy with my current experience and excited to see how Genshin continues to grow and improve. Hopefully they see the reception of improvements in other games and move them to Genshin. Here's hoping for an even better future!
yeah, i’m happy that they seem to be trying to take QOL more seriously now! looking forward to seeing what 5.2 will have in store for us, its nice being able to be excited for special programs now since they might announce substantial QOL changes :)
You say at the end your criteria is based on what improves your day to day sessions. Yet you gave a 10/10 to a change you see once a month with the Abyss. And the other 10 to the extra exploration primos we'll only see when new areas drop. Which isn't even guaranteed as of yet, priorities i guess lol... 🤷
the abyss skip does really improve my exp playing the game, & exploring is a core part of genshin impact therefore its a nice incentive; i also rate based on if there’s any downsides, there aren’t with those 2 imo
We play abyss only once a month, clear it within 30 mins or less... now without floor 9 and 10 its too boring 😢 At least they should give some new mechanics there

No, it's mid. It's very filler, the Archon quest draged, no new are to explore, only one new character to play with, not the most interesting Abyss line up, not that many quality of life improvements. The only good thing about it so far is the weapon banner 🙃 0:02 Well that's a lie 0:23 Nah, this is just an excuse to make a boring enemy line up in those floors 1:18 Exactly, so how is making Abyss shorter better I agree with the rest, very true. There actually has been a lot if big changes
there’s a good arguement for it being mid tbh, i think i’d rather skip the boring stages than redo them all the time for the sake of game length tho. like, i KNOW i can clear 9-10 the real solution is adding F13+, but considering their statement years ago idk if they’re open to the possibility also agree the weapon banner update the absolute biggest thing in natlan so far i do see these updates as better than what we had before at least, i really hope we get HSR’s resin reserve system soon tho bc its so handy not having to worry about overcapping resin edit; so true on the new area tho, was really sad that we didn’t get one
i will say that the abyss skip is pretty nice, but fair enough, we’re still lacking key things people have asked for (e.g. loadouts) if they can add those in, then all bases are covered
@@Juice-chan I just don't get why you would care about these changes so much because the non reward changes might give you maybe an extra hour or 2 of time saved per month. I don't know how you play but that is what I would get from them. If for you those 2 hours per month are important then I guess for u these may feel nice but for me time is wasted regardless of what I do in game because after u are done hunting all the primogems and mora and lvl up materials in the game then everything else is just optional in terms of building better accounts. We don't play games to save time LOL. It's quite the opposite. We do it to waste time so we don't get bored.
