CN players specifically are upset about Ororon being 4* instead of 5* mainly because the only 5* male released this year was kinich and the mostly see Ororon being 4* as wasted potential and or sexism/favoritism (aka cute girls sell better bc of gooners type ahh mindset)
gacha game audience is mostly straight male and so does hoyo. Their previous game literally only consists of female playable characters. Also, most gacha games that release both male and female playables have a higher ratio for female characters. They can't possibly please everyone. When Sumeru released one patch full of male characters, some players didn't like it. Also, Ororon can be a good character in meta and lore-wise without being a 5*. Kaveh and Kaeya have a lot of fans and received a lot of love even though they aren't exactly meta so what is stopping Ororon? It's not like all male characters in genshin are automatically overshadowed by the females just for the sake of selling the female more. Scara and Neuvillette have notably high number of fanbase for example.
i suggest to watch kimdaogame instead. her exploration vids are way better than kyo. the only downside is it might take a while before her uploads, like a week
@@chrollolucilfer3051 her guides are really good . But i relay so much on audio and instructions in the video like how kyo , le pei does . Because I play on my pc and for videos i watch on my mobile. Voice makes it easier for me and helps me avoid switching my sight to 2 devices back and forth .
No wonder they're doing a rerun on Zhongli and Neuvellete. Those weapons and its stats are broken for these two characters. The new boss deals damage even through shields, so Zhongli has to run in Tenacity artifacts.
tho you are never guaranteed a 4 star unless you get them from an event for free.... i have wished on every banner that Candance has been on and i have gotten 0 Candance, if she were a 5 star or if there was an epitomized path for 4 stars i would be satisfied, glad shell be free soon tho
@@sueyu7536 I don’t believe you whatsoever lol. I know that’s *technically* possible but it’s literally almost mathematically impossible. There is no world where a 5* that can cost 180 wishes for one copy of is more accessible than a rate up 4*.

That's mostly the CN community, but to counter your point, the genshin 4 star system is worse than the 5 star system, because you have 0 guarantee what 4 star you'll get. Chances are, you'll spend over 100 pulls and still not get the 4 star you want. You'll have to be incredibly unlucky for that, but I've once spent nearly 70 pulls on a banner to get 2 five stars and not a single heizou, which I really wanted. In some cases, getting a 4 star can be even harder than a 5 star.
maybe they want him to be really good also it's usually pretty difficult to get cons for a specific 4 star since they're not guaranteed like the 5 stars
4 stars have a lower power ceiling. Making Oro a 4* means he's (probably) gonna be next to useless for meta-players. They want him to be a 5* so that he's more powerful and actually worthwhile playing. That's what I assume at least, don't know much about the CN community
The main issue with missing voice lines is that I have to read the dialogue. If I switch to JP, CN or KR then I have to read ALL lines. That doesn't help me at all lol. But if this strike continues and more characters are affected, then might as well switch fully to JP. If I need to read all lines anyway in EN because they have no voice, then at least I have some cool JP audio. I don't see how the strike will end because AI voice acting is the future, maybe not now, but in 2-3 years it will get a lot better. So the voice actors will never be happy with the AI future
This VA strike is actually stupid. Like if u don't want to voice act then don't be surprised if companies actually start using AI. AI won't throw tantrums
Imo, regarding Ororon becoming a 5-star just due to the fact that he's part of the 6 heroes: Imo, the 6 heroes should've covered the 6 elements outside of Pyro. Meaning either Iansan/Ororon should've been replaced by Citlali as the 6th chosen hero, since both of them are Electro. Meanwhile, if that's the basis of him "supposed" to be a 5-star, Iansan seems to be going to be a standard banner. So, since they already revealed Ororon as one of the 6 heroes in the story, there's most probably not gonna be any change to his rarity.
The player is the one losing from that tho, not them. If they wanted to, they could be stingier with weapon options, making players pull which would equal more money for them. Ppl not pulling on weapon banners doesn’t hurt them financially. They prob couldn’t care less bc that’s not where their main revenue even comes from.

Wrong lol, anyone that is playing for a few months doesn't pull for weapons. Older players always pull for weapons on their favourite characters. What's the point of having 20 weak characters when you don't even like or use all, when you can have 10 super strong ones that you really like

Well Neuv best team is with Furina and u did need the heals from Proto Amber, but if u have his new bis team with Xilonen then its actually worth switching over.

This weapon provides nothing but hp (and not even that much more than pamber) while doing nothing for fanfare stacks or charged attack damage. Things Pamber and his sig does. There is no world where this weapon is even better than pamber, much less his sig and that’s not up for debate. Edit: ah I know why you’re confused. Neuvi does not count as one of the hydro units for the bonus hp from passive. Anytime a weapon includes the equipping character it will specifically state that in the passive description, which this one doesn’t. Maybe they change that before it comes out but as of now going by the rules hoyo follows on all weapon wording you would need three hydros including neuvi on the team to max the passive. Furina Neuvi would have only furina counting towards the passive.

They’d have to redo their animations and repurpose there kits. I’m not saying that it’s not simple (bc it is), but it’s a dumb thing to do when they’re already so close to releasing.

Since they stretch the Archon quest anyway for 4 patches, they should have added some more 4* in between that were not heroes

They didn't give a heart beat about Sigewinne beeing a 5star and never tryed to balance the 5star ration in Fontaine. They should have changed her to a 4star but they forced this stupid decision and the majority aren't satisfied. So we should expect tha same stupidity in Narlan as well. The players literary saying they want pay for a 5star Ororon! And what are they doing? "No we don't want to give you 5star Ororon." Players said they want to pay for skins... and they aded skins to characters like Ganyu and Shenhe... for an old model character and for a niche character that most of the players regret pulling for! (Atleast me who never wanted Ayaka. And I heard a lot of players say the same.) So at this point Hoyo is realy not sain. And I'm bored of this stupidity.
This is only my observation, not fact, but skins are usually made for characters that a lot of people own. Just look at all the Standard characters with skins (Diluc, Keqing, Jean) and the old characters like Ganyu or Ningguang. And Ayaka had the longest banner in history and was a fan favourite so many people have her and many pulled Shenhe for Ayaka. Anyway, it's simple math for Hoyoverse, if 10 million people have Ayaka, the chance of some of them buying the skin is higher. It doesn't make sense for them to make a skin for a newer character that only 1 million people have. The real question for me is how come Archons don't yet have skins. If Raiden gets a hot skin, it will break the internet. And another question is, why don't they make coomer skins, I know this sounds bad lol, but that's how you sell a skin. If they don't really want to sell skins, then they should continue to make them "tame" and for old characters lol

Almost everybody have Zhongli and wants a skin for him. Also Raiden and Nahida and Furina... (althought I'm not intrested in a Furina skin even if I have her). So Hoyo still makes no sense.
@@keithharth1219 Play the English Dub, mainly cause the don't want to read dialog and its the only language they can understand and want to understand what they are saying. While I think the English Dub isn't good (Mainly because the Localization team is bad at translating the messy language that is English) I still play it because I'm used to it. (I've listen to Jp Voices before, while they are good. I'll still use English because I understand it more and I don't understand Japanese Words)
