Is Amazon Prime Day 2024 the new Black Friday in July? Tons of other giant retail companies like Walmart deals week, Target circle week, Ulta summer beauty sale and Sephora deals week are jumping on the summer sale bandwagon and offering huge sales, while trying to get ahead of prime day by making sure these deals go live a week before. One of my main issues is that I HATE navigating the Amazon website. The user experience is garbage because its a cobbled together Frankenstein's monster that they just keep adding random stuff to. My husband worked in web development for 10 years and we talk about how bad it is all the time, haha! So I'd much rather shop sales at one of the other retailers because of that. I'm glad that the others are trying to compete a bit. Anyway, I enjoy your videos and I always look forward to the next one🙂

Very interesting to hear about Sephora. I feel like Sephora here (in Sweden) have sale all the time. I'm guessing it's more because we have different types of sales, like sure Black Friday and Cyber Monday have migrated overseas but before that we generally had sale between christmas and new years, summer sale (around midsummer) and then back to school sale (and then whenever stores feels obligated to throw in sales between those times). So I'm guessing that when Sephora came here they basically had to adopt that 'sale mindset' in order to compete with other stores/sites. They still have exclusive sales for members or for people who have their app, but they for sure have a lot of sales going on during the year

There were more deals than I expected. I don't usually use Amazon that much but sometimes I keep an eye out on the oddball art supply lol
