Has the church just become a show? Are people actually seeking entertainment, or are misguided leaders, providing it, while people are asking for so much more?

My oldest started being attracted to men and I prayed and prayed. He got set free, got filled with the Holy Spirit and is in the church choir. He constantly is listening to Christian music and wears scriptures on his shirts to school. He's totally changed, it didn't happen overnight but we had victory

Yes. My church (that I’m now leaving) spent thousands on an Easter egg hunt and that just doesn’t sit right with me. Almost everyone is struggling financially right now and we spent thousands on entertainment. Where is the healing and deliverance and prayer?

Don’t question yourself for asking that question, you are 100% correct. I say it all the time, I would rather go to church in a run down shake where the real presence of god was VS some 10 million dollar building, something just doesn’t sit right with me over it. It is HARD to find a church that actually does healing and deliverance. I wish I lived near pastor mike and his family, I do watch them online but I want to be there. sorry for the rant but god bless you and I will pray you find the right church if the one you’re in isn’t it.

I was addicted to marijuana for 13 years. The last 6 years have been smoking it all day every day. Went to this movie with a group of girls I hadn’t even met yet from my Church on November 13th. (Our church had a women’s Facebook group I was in and one of the girls said she was going and a group of us met there) After the movie we were all talking in the parking lot and I asked them to pray over me to free me from this bondage and so I would go home and smoke. After they parted I immediately felt something. Now, almost SIX MONTHS LATER zero desire to smoke. Haven’t even touched the stuff since THAT NIGHT! my roommates still smoke around me and I have ZERO desire. God is so good! 13 years of bondage was broken that night in the movie theater parking lot with a group of girls I had never met. And now some of my best friends! Good is SO good. So good!

Here in Germany it's a complete mess in most of the churches. No signs, miracles and wonders. No deliverance. No Mark 16,17, no John 14,12, no understanding of Ephesians 6,12, very little practicing of Luke 4,18. I am so tired of it. Jesus help me to change that

Greek as well with Orthodox Churches focusing on praying to saints and Mary more that the Word of God. They don't even teach anything they bow to their icons and they even say in their liturgy to mediate for the church instead of asking the Lord Jesus who is the only mediator before God and man. Also they even confess to the priests instead of God. I grew up to this Churches and they still continue this road and praying for all of them and for everyone the Lord to open our spiritual eyes and Repent from our Iniquities. Forge your swords ⚔️ everyone with the Word of God learning our bible, Pray and take actions for the Lost. Steadfast in the Lord who sits on the throne and has full control on everything just activate his Fire to burn the false idols around you with his Glory and Truth by spreading his Word. Wow, so powerful, thank you!! Just today I was getting my teeth cleaned and laying on the dental chair I suddenly felt led to pray for different random scenarios and I first thought, that’s so odd where did that come from and then I just closed my eyes and prayed during the cleaning. God had me pray for women who have been separated from their children that they be reunited, people battling drug addiction, people dealing with unexplained illnesses and people who have been bound by trauma that they be released from the memory of trauma and can live normal happy lives.

Yes!! I worked at a seeker sensitive church a few years back, it was exhausting constantly trying to put on the next best thing and so much money spent on performers, props, concerts, dinners, shows, etc.

I have been on praise team for years. My spirit has been grieved to the max, one reason because of them making it about talent, how you stand, making the worship focus on keeping with the schedule, with boundaries of utilizing 5 fold ministry gifts, etc. I know God directed me to the prayer team after so much grief from Holy Spirit, it was breaking my heart. I am now no longer going at that church that I had been interceding for, and prophetically interceding for Holy Spirit to have no limits...for the past 10 years or more. I had to learn to let it go and let God move that mountain. I am in transition. I totally get it! We need to pray and sing the bible....and get in his presence!

Entertainment is the devil substitute for miracles. Amen.... There is way too much entertainment in these churches. I myself has needed prayer and needed someone to stand with us in hard times and cannot find No One. Every Christian is busy. Everybody's busy doing something different. Back in the day, there used to be people. That would stand with you and pray with you and fast and believe with you. And my family has gone through some hard times and I have needed so much support and cannot find it in the churches, which is such a shame

Yes, I know churches said does games and brings in animals and all kinds of different things from the pull pit .. I tried to take a friend to this church. And no one is interested in staying there. The music is blasting. It feels like you're in a nightclub of some sort And they just jump and dance all over the place. I was just criticized because I am against entertainment in the church. I was told that Jesus gave us laughter. I told them that we have a short time to save souls and that is only by the Gospels not entertainment. Being of this world will damn you.

Yes I agree with this message! The church that I go to focuses more on attendance and an audience rather than seeing miracles in the church. They don’t do any alter calls and I haven’t seen our pastors lay any hands on anyone unless they ask for prayer. And also they don’t believe in being radical and we get silenced if we praise too loud

In my youth I walked away from church cause I saw no evidence of a real God. It was only years later that God revealed Himself to me in a powerful way and He has continually shown me His true self over and over again.. There is no comparison between the reality of God and the glitz and entertainment found in so many churches. Thank you for speaking about this subject. So true what you shared.

I wish our visions be realized in days and weeks , not over months. That the sick, the Lost, the possessed, the poor, the debtor, seekers, the Depressed, the suicidals, and all human beings can walk into a Church-all over the world- where they can seek and find deliverance and we have our fellow Believers on standby to help. That our Church is open 24/7 for service and deliverance. Prayers and deliverance were open too. Thanks Isaiah for this Vision. Our Lord has been looking forward in these efforts, and needed laborers.

I agree with what you're saying , these things happening in Puerto Rico miracle signs and wonders take place , now it's no longer happening as well!!
