If an Axopar 45C is the swiss army knife, the Saxdor 400 GTC is the leatherman! Both are incredible bits of kit but built differently for a variety of boaters.
Nice well laid out, so people can move about freely. Love the drop down balconies really adds to the versatility of the boat. The cabins are comfortable for a weekender boat she does the business.
Great video and the boat is amazing! The only thing I do not like is the headroom in the cabin and head as I am 6ft tall as well. Also, the front cabin bed should be at least a queen size for comfortable weekend trips for couples. Lastly, does this boat have AC? I recall mention of a diesel heater. 48 knots is impressive for a boat this size!
I actually went through their website yesterday. I would actually like to see the one below this but do like this for the extra cabin. Im just dreaming really as I want a bigger yacht and would use something like this for a chase boat. 40ft maybe a bit big lol.
The seats don’t need arm rest for the driver and passenger but could be a nice luxury addition to the boat. Same with any axopar boat. I haven’t seen any axopar boat with armrest.
Still, cutting-edge Saxdor 400 GTC, very nice coastal cruising boat. But I do not get why they change the previous forward sloping windshield design to backward sloping windshield. Forward sloping design creates more space and makes the whole boat more well balanced actually. Anyway, thanks for the tour, still an amazing Saxdor.
Saxdor all the way. You can't find an Axopar that hasn't been marked up like a GT3RS or a G-wagen. They Jack the prices up on all,of them. Marinemax was jacking up the price on the Sargos and also the new Marex down in Palm Beach. Adding 35 to 50k!!! That is unreal and borderline criminal
Must feel humbling to Axopar guys as others are trying to follow what they have done. Kind a same when all phone producers where trying to make Apple killers. Is it better that axopar dont know but competition is good. Now its only about whom is able to have better quality in what they are doing :)
PLEASE make that rear driver side compartment an AQUARIUM LIVE WELL!! And put rod holders throughout the boat! I would sell my house to buy this boat TOMORROW!!
After seeing it in person, i went for Beneteau flyer 10. Saxdor looks great, but it’s a party boat, without room inside. And build quality is not that great
This Saxdor makes the Axopar look like a joke. Can never understand why anyone would buy an Axopar, it’s unusable in ever way. This boat look great, is so usable as a day boat, looks fantastic and whilst it has sleeping capability, is far better than the Axopar it’s still claustrophobic, particularly the rear cabin which is no more than a horizontal cupboard.
Please consider normalizing your volume across your videos? The radical volume swings are so bad that, no joke, one second I was listening to you speak and then next it literally just knocked a plant off my TV shelf and I have water, dirt, and glass all over my floor.
A great addition to this yacht would be an electric side helm window mechanism which would allow to lower it like on Galeon yachts. I just love to drive the boat with my elbow out like in a car.
