I love this review of the Ranger XLT, had such a laugh!! Juliete is freaking funny! 😂 Anyway i bought the XLT with upgrade pack 4 and so far i am really impressed with my bakkie! I wanted to buy a Hilux and my wife the Ranger, so for two weeks before we bought our bakkie, we had daily arguments about which bakkie is better etc, etc, etc...My word, i am so happy i listened to her for a change!!!! 😂😂😂😂😂
Not much of a "bakkie-man" myself, but I'm with you on the Amarok which is now also mostly Ford. I've owned one Ford in my life and it was the Escort XR-3i. I was 22 and loved it back then. It was a fun car. Don't get me wrong. Ford build great vehicles, but I haven't been a fan for a long time. I think the Raptor is awesome, and I used to like the Volvo-engined T5. I'd choose the ISUZU or Triton if I was forced to pick a bakkie.
What changed to make you dislike Ford? The message between the lines in your comment suggest that you will actively avoid Fords if given the option. Why is that?
i only watch these car vids as i love your comments 😍... but gotta say as having seen these models in Dubai and Bangkok ford are ripping off the SA consumer.. who would have thought it !!!!.... ps dubai prices are about 40% lower than here and a higher spec and i think made in BKK

you say they did alot of research but you cant fit a canopy without having to fit braces? is that not going backwards.. having to disassemble part of a new car to fit an accesory that many bakkie drivers do is a bit “kek”
As a back seat passenger in the last model was hella uncomfortable. Felt like your kidneys where being poked with every bump in the road. Hope it's changed in this version
@@mazambane286 yes, I feel this person probably doesn't know bakkies at all. The older ones of yesteryear could leave you organs on the floor. Navarra is the most comfortable. Ranger is streets ahead of Hilux.
@@sithabelamandlawenkosiwodu6298 The Navara is the only bakkie with coils on the rear. It may be very comfortable but you can't load it. Hilux is by far the most uncomfortable. It's suspension comes straight off my great grandfathers ox wagon.
The door handles is good and all, until you drop a few cracked Dotritos in there😂 This Generation Rangers is by far the best looking Bakkies in SA at the moment, in my opinion.
As an American who’s excited about the 2024 Ranger coming to the US, and not enough videos out yet, I’m watching these videos to have an idea who the new Ranger is going to be like lol Forgive my arrogance but what is a “bakkie”?

If there's one thing I can't stand in bakkies (and cars) its dark black hoodlining. It makes the vehicle feel like a cave at night. I love thus Rangers interior color vibe. Small things can sometimes change your whole mood...
