I'm with the hun who said a talking stage should last for about a year, by then I'd be completely confident in our relationship because I'd know exactly who the other person is, and if they're what I want for myself. I agree so much with Barbara on a lot of things. There's needs to definitely be a "boundary" or "definition" of what happens in the talking stage and dating. Talking stage is really just getting to each other but nothing hectic will mostly happen over texts for me, then maybe we meet up twice or so just to chill/hang. Then dating, will be the dates and cool stuff. But also, I'm not comfortable with putting a timeline to these things, for as long as it flows in the direction it flows then I'm good. I also wouldn't rush it, I'm afraid I'd also drag it for more than 6 months😭😭😭

Talking stage is important but it shouldn't run the course of time. 3 months yooooh. But if we're intentional it'll show, the months or weeks in it won't feel like it's dragging cause its going somewhere mutual. Talk to people, talk the shit out of someone and figure out if they're worth spending more face to face time with them. The talking stage is there so yol can figure out if the 'like' yol share for one another is worth pursuing, you see ironing out the do's and donts and figuring out the basic boundaries I'm for it.
