@@BurstIsMildlyOk That's exactly what I thought when i first played Yakuza 4. Akiyama is a more relaxed and educated version of Sonic. Hope RGG doesn't sleep on this idea, I want to see Sonic in a suit.
Sonic beat em up but they just put Akiyama in a cheap Sonic halloween costume, while every other character is normal. This should never be mentioned by the game, the developers, and ideally not even by the players.
I wonder if SEGA one day will have the amazing idea to have Ryu Ga Gotoku studio work together with the Sonic team to develop a Sonic styled Yakuza game.
@@johnathonturner2279 and I loved that, but every Eggman has thrown down every once in a while. The difference between Archie and IDW is that Archie created Hard-Light Armor, punched Sonic [more than once I believe], and is all around even more of a beast up close.
Honestly of they put him in the game with his 06 design it would be amazing. In Shenmue, Yakuza and Judgment Sega's consoles and arcades are canon so it could be like a guy that's obsessed with sonic or something
"Get a load of Hokuto Shinken." "No way. You already can't believe this." "You know what they say "Hokuto Shinken is invincible"." "I'm gonna piss on the Nanto."
@@matiassandoval3411 by the current means of modding movesets, then no. That data doesn't translate over. However, people are developing an animation converter that would be able to convert animation files into GMTs, which can then be ported into Yakuza (all titles). However, it is either a rumor or extremely early in its development.
@@jackie_boi116 im fully aware that rn its impossible. But nothing stops the modding communities. Doesnt matter if its a boundary. A glitch. Or nintendo. Modding finds a way.
They actually did reference FoTN on (I think) issue 270 of the archive series. Sonic and Street Fighter's Ryu also made a playable appearance in the mobile game, Fist of the North Star Legends Revive.
If youve never played it thats just how yakuza 0 functions, every punch generates income equivalent to its place on the punch strength index (PSI). This punch cash income (PCI) is then applied to your character to increase the max median of their PSI number
"has Yakuza modding gone too far?" No! I'd say it hasn't gone far enough! Modding isn't about why it's about why not! I won't be satisfied until I can play an entirely different game in Yakuza!
Eggman's 06 design never bothered me because its just Teddy Roosevelt in a cyberpunk suit. And Eggman is based off teddy Roosevelt going so far as to have the same eye color and height as the real man. So it felt like a logical idea for a realistic eggman
“You are the eggman now” he says, removing his thumb from deep within the mans temple. As his victims collapses, the shattered form of eggman weeps to himself, and amongst the tears one can hear the pitiful plea “no one is as fast as he was”
It hasn't gone far enough. Those enemies could've been modded! The location could've been modded! The HUD could've been modded! There is still work to be done!
Btw can you tell me how I can replace the model? I'm having a bit of trouble Edit: I figured this out, but now I'm having trouble with replacing the style decals, they just dont change
Dr.Eggman: What are you going to do now Sonic!?!? I have now allied with the Japanese Yakuza to defeat you!!! You can't out run all of us!!!! Sonic: *Runs away* Dr.Eggman: *Cuts off his own finger in furious rage* AAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!
