About the Hasaki Tegosaki Shrine Otoshio Festival The Otoshio Festival is held every year on the Saturday or Sunday closest to June 15th of the lunar calendar as a ritual for Tegosaki Shrine, the guardian deity of the Hasaki district of Kamisu City. It is a festival for fishermen to pray for safe voyages and bountiful catches.
On the first night, "Yoimiya", and on the second day of the festival, portable shrines and musical instruments are paraded through the town.
