I doubt you'll be able to get the slime paint op off. Wait. They'll re-release them all again. They always do.

The head sculpts definitely look better on the glow in the dark slime versions when compared to the previous releases. The same is true for the outfits as well. The paint application is a big reason for that. Otherwise, thanks as always Spot for another wonderful video. I really appreciate it!

So, have you actually got something to remove the slime? I will get a Tamiya Clear Blue color (acrylic) to change the stream colors, don't really want to double tip in the near future.

My first thought was taking the slime off too lol. That’s how they get us, small improvements. Except this time the price hikes to $26.49 (US) and no baf. I’m going to only start with Venkman bc of him being the only one actually getting slimed in the movie....surely I’ll cave for the others eventually. I just want the charcoal GB2 suits with slime blowers already. Would be a dream!

what a great review, thank you very much! I need to ask you if you did a test of using alcohol to remove the slime from the figures and if so, how they turned out or if you have made a video about it. greetings from Argentina.

Peter is way better, Winston as well, but I think the first Ray and Egon had a better likeness. Specially Ray, who now has very weird eyes. I would keep them with the slime, though, as it makes them look dirtier and more like they have been busting ghosts, rather than fresh laundry clean look of the first. I'm definitely trying to get Pete, but I think I'll pass on the rest.

oh you thought the Ray and Egon were better on the first wave? I think Egon's glasses might be better on the slime version in my opinion. Did you ever end up grabbing these for yourself?

On the proton beams....They just add to the glow-in-the-dark paint scheme, incorrect colors but, match the glow on the slime and boxes in the dark. I’m surprised you didn’t show us the figures with the glowing proton beams also. Either way, thanks for the early review Spot!

My Wishlist for Ghostbusters: Plasma Series: *Stay Puft Marshmallow Man (1984 film) *Slimer *Zombie Taxi Driver with his steering wheel ripped off and with his taxi cab as accessories (1984 film) *Ghost Librarian (1984 film) *Muncher *Clean Ecto-1 (1984 film) *Modified Ecto-1 (Ghostbusters 2 1989 film) *Rookie *Louis Tully Ghostbuster *Scoleri Brothers (Ghostbusters 2 1989 film) *Ivo Shandor *Vigo (Ghostbusters 2 1989) I Hope Hasbro they will make these missing figures.

Well, you convinced me. I only had Peter on preordered simply because he was the only one that got slimed. After watching this, I went and ordered Ray and Egon just so I could do a banquet room display. Hopefully I get the slime off the other two without damaging them.

This would have been a slam dunk wave if only they included Vigo the Carpatian...since they have that slime glow in the dark gimmick going on anyway....but because they didn't include Vigo, this is just an obvious cash grab on existing molds, and even with glow in the dark photon-streams, this wave is an easy pass.
