The POTF (Power of the Force, 1998) Jabba's Palace 3-D Diorama Display A Cheap and Easy way to display my Jabba's Palace legacy and vintage action figure collection.
The vintage (198x) Bib Fortuna has the best face sculpt, so far... And I also have the old (vintage) Ree-Yees! My "Court Denizens" are still packed and I also should try out the card-board diorama... which I bought years ago and never opened...
It's so crazy that something as simple as a cardboard set up can look as cool as this does. I actually never knew that this even existed, thanks for sharing!
the diorama is meant for kids to play with , so when it breaks you buy a new one. I had an original cardboard Death Star back in the day that ended up falling apart. I've heard there worth serious money today due to how little of them survived.
Sorry that I'm late to the party again, I've had a busy past several days. I really like the look of this diorama besides the cheap quality (definitely not as good as your home made ones :D), but with some tinkering this could be a really nice display piece. It's perfect for someone like me who wants a nice backdrop for displaying his figures, and my 2010 Jabba needs a nice and cozy home! Thanks for sharing BudgetJedi!
Yeah i agree, well this one takes like zero amount of work so if you ever want to do this one it would be the easiest! thanks for watching and the compliment man!
watching this inspired me to finish my Land of the Jawas diorama. I need to find the cardboard sand crawler, but there is a site where you can download it and print it. Great video!
hey thats a pretty cool idea about expanding the dio. like you said, you could fit the whole thing into a box, and perhaps then you have some possible lighting options
I really love your videos! I just discovered them! I primarily used to do this for miniatures, but I have a ton of Star Wars figures and it’s time to display them properly. Thank you!
Best Jabba diorama set up I've seen. He looks dangerous and powerful! Collectors like myself have everything they want, but forgot to complete the Jabba scenes. So, my jealousy is really in high gear right about now. But, oh well! Thank You for this. It's very cool!
haha thanks Fly - this one's easily accessible, and pretty cheap around here. Definitely a good option for people who want to spice up their displays. thanks for checking in!
Thanks for watching bud! yeah i agree. Yes I've seen the cantina but i really dislike it because i'ts wayyy to small for accurate scale imo. I will buy one though if it's cheap enough
hell yeah you got a great point there. I'll always love the vintage (real vintage) remember when we used to use our imagination to play? lol, not true anymore for today's kids
Wow - another fantastic video! I've had this from new and never opened it. But it's well worth setting up - you made it look great! Keep up the great work.
Thx amigo for a good overview! I likewise was close to purchasing this for my rotj stop motion but after I saw yr other vids on making Jabba's throne, i'm glad I made my own palace like u!! Love yr videos! Yr a big help to the diorama / stop-motion community!! Esp the BUDGET part! lol
Thanks for watching Jesse, I would save 25 inches width and at least 8 inches deep. Multiply that by 2.54 to get your cm. Yeah that carbonite piece is one of a kind!
looks amazing man, I agree, by putting this piece inside a cardboard box you can expand on it so much. looks so cool with the figures in it, great video man :)
so nice to see a lot of figures displayed to create a diorama...especially Jabba's palace. Very epic scene. I feel so jealous each time I see a diorama that I know I can also do but missing some materials or figures. You may say it's simple Ed but it looks fantastic! thanks for sharing :)
excellent my friend.. after seeing your vid. i think i will start displaying my legacy jabba with all the new jabba's goons figures with my 3D diorama. tks!!
I was so excited when I saw that your latest video was Jabba-related! The diorama looks great with the modern figures. If I could squeeze it into my DETOLF case, I might invest in this myself. Thanks for posting! P.S. I think I echo a lot of guys on here when I say I prefer your own creations to officially licensed Hasbro products. Just sayin'. Enjoy your weekend.
Thanks for sharing ma man,im looking for this set at the moment and it looks even better than i expected with the newbie figures.Superb video as always bud! ;)
I did make an endor diorama already with the endor bunker, so I probably won't be making one for a while. Check out darthbools channel for some endor diorama goodness! thanks for the support
