Hasbro Star Wars The Vintage Collection Price Guide | Target Stores STOP Selling TVC? 

I reminded you about the no more TVC at Target a few days ago. I haven't received the real information on the discontinuing TVC. I still love/buy/collect TVC even at Walmart, Best Buy, Amazon, and conventions. I even buy Black Series pending on what's out and if it's worth buying for. I like TVC a lot when it first came out back in 2010, and I still buy them. It brings back memories of of this when I first bought the original vintage line years ago when the movies came out in the late 70's, early 80's. . I collect for pleasure, not profit. I also like to buy more of them than BS even when on sale or clearance. And yes, Hasbro's Hasbro Pulse/Haslab are having more exclusives and other web sites are having more control on their sales instead of retail stores. But that's my opinion. I'm not politicalizing. Everyone like you have your/their's decision. Nice TVC Dengar VC01. Really great. A nice Darth Vader Revenge version. Wonderful Canadian Return version unpunched Boba Fett. I'm still glad I have the Anakin Skywalker w/Darth Vader name pill. I think I bought it by accident when I just looked at the photo and logo. Great foiled version and regular unpunched General Grievous. The foiled w/Boba Fett rocket firing offer looks nice, but I never have seen one from Chile. I like the Clone Commander Cody whether foiled or regular. I need him. I'm glad I have Jango Fett. Temurra Morrison is coming to Dallas Comic Con this summer. Still glad I have Slave Outfit and Sandstorm Leia. Great Sandtrooper w/orange pauldron. Nice Book of Boba Fett Bib Fortuna. I still need the Special Action Figure ESB Imperial 3 pack. I have the proof card of Jucosta, but not the carded figure. Nice 81/80 AFA Graded Kylo Ren.

Great update and I firmly believe TVC will pick up again some previous bad management decisions really effected it, I have faith in Steve Evans and team

I dumped all my TVC and I am glad I did. It is very freeing not worrying about ridiculous pre orders anymore. My wife and pocket book are happy too😮

Great video John. I agree. We are seeing the slow death. I am TVC for life but even I am not at all excited. Too many repacks and repaints. Too expensive. I am only getting 1 carded of each. Going forward. When I would get 2 of each. I WONT buy the deluxe ones. Being a MOC collector, they are just ugly and lame. Keep up the great work mate.

Unfortunately Target is an indicator of the state of affairs in Star Wars . I’ve noticed there’s been a ton more inventory on eBay . My local comic collectible shop also tells me they have been getting pummeled with people being in there collections not just Star Wars but everything comics pops ect. Target has a new DPCI set for TVC. JTA was a bit to excited to announce a rumor. LOL!

I've heard Target will be bringing in more TVC and that this was only a "temporary" pause. But who knows. Something that interests me a little more is the decline of Star Wars that is apparently being caused by the political views and personal agendas of many of the folks to the Disney "team". I feel like they should probably stay away from that sort of thing going forward if they want Star Wars to be as profitable as it should be. Who knows, maybe I'll do a video series on this on my own channel. Honestly the more I see, the more I want to speak out on it. Great video though!!

I no longer stress off of obtaining every TVC release. Getting burned by DorkSideToys and losing $350 in pre orders and $100 lost in shipping from StarActionFigures really made me question my time and money. Politics and poor distribution have discouraged me as a fan.

I was the one that bought the Revenge VC08 Darth Vader you showed! I thought it was a great price, I’m in Australia and they sell for double what I paid. Hopefully has a safe journey down under 🤣

I don’t really buy TVC to make money. Doesn’t mean I don’t like it if I feel I have got a deal but with TVC0.1 cards being re-released often I wouldn’t go too crazy anyway. I love TVC because of how it keeps me current in the Star Wars world (and the figures are really good quality). People always like things cheaper but as someone who has only started collecting again in the last few years, I am ok with pricing. Is Star Wars getting better or worse. If I had time travelled from 1983 to the present day and was presented with all the media we have today, I would be more positive than negative. I think we think it is worse than it is because of the low that (generally) people think the ST represented/went to. I think that generally content is on the up now and while mistakes have been made, lessons have been learned and continuity and quality of output is getting better. Will kids today enjoy Star Wars as much as those of the OT era? Probably not but I think we a few good films it will be on kids radar a lot more. Kids don’t play with toys as much but did I? By the time I was 8 Star Wars was long forgotten and I was probably playing video games, so feel the emphasis of toys not being as important as they once were is overstated! Finally, in terms of pricing, the bottom will fall out of the Kenner vintage line pricing, when? Who knows but I think there will definitely be a lot of supply hit the market in 10 years or so, as people get rid of it. Will be interesting to see how it plays out, as at some point, some people won’t want to pay the market price as they think they won’t get their money back from a sale in the future (there will always be exceptions).

Hasbro over produced Lando. Hardly a reason to cancel TVC 3:75. The new 4’ line is retarded though. Hasbro missing the mark there big time.

I keep hearing that Jon Favreau is done with Disney. Just another sign that star wars is on the decline.

I think TVC is slowly dying. The figures are way overpriced, the characters are sub par at best, and Disney doesn’t know Star Wars. Disney is also destroying themselves with their political agendas and will take down Hasbro, Mattel and anyone else affiliated with the brand, it’s sad. I stopped collecting anything after TVC 1.0 along time ago for these very reasons. I think George would have been better selling the brand to Paramount or Sony Pictures.
