that's not the only reason why people ship them??? their dynamic is very popular. for example, some people ship uzui and rengoku, even though rengoku is dead and uzui is already married.

i dont care what you ship im just curious on why people ship it so much, now if sanemi didnt hate giyuu then maybe i could see it and by the end of the manga theyre friends yes but from what i can tell i dont think there was any romantic feelings there. giyuu just waned to be friends with sanemi. i dont hate the ship i just dont understand it, to me sanemi and giyuu are bully/victim to friends, its like people shipping bakugo and deku ignoring the factthat bakugo litterlly bullied deku for all of his life. again im not hatting on the ship i just wanna know the appeal of it.
Its like.. an enemies to lovers appeal, or a "short-tempered/loud x quiet" type dynamic thing that usually ropes people in, and the end of the manga really tied the knot on it in some cases- also it has both fluff and angst potentional, which is a win/win for a lot of people. Pretty much all of the shippers have made peace with the fact it'll never be canon and they'll always just be friends but 💀 yk. Also, for some people it's just a mindless "idk why but i love this ship now", with no real reason behind it 🤷♀️ so uh.. thanks for reading this! I personally ship it because i like their dynamic/potentional, and the end-of-manga is just so sweet to me (I prefer end-of-manga sanegiyuu because it's overall a lot more wholesome and it's more likely to be.. yk, a healthy relationship, but that's just me)
