Ormskirk and District Family History Society (registered charity no. 1004895) invite you to join us on a tour of Haskayne and Downholland, as we combine a series of photos taken in the early 2010s with some up-to-date views of the local area, taken during the summer of 2022.
Along the way, we’ll explore some date stones, family photos donated by our members and supporters, and other resources (including census returns, trade directories and items from the Lancashire Archives catalogue) that can be used to investigate the history of West Lancashire - and even your own family’s story - in greater depth.
