Hi Bossk Love the video, as always a highlight to my Sunday evenings. QFNW: All the talk of supporting the Cantina with aliens etc well what about support for the Ghost? Aside from different versions of the crew which are characters we are already getting with the Ghost there has been 0 mention of any new characters from rebels. Do you think we are likely to see more rebels figures next year or was the Rebels side of TVC a one and done with the Ghost? So much potential for new figures from Rebels, off the top of my head Agent Kallus, 5th Brother, 7th sister, Old Maul, Old Rex, Ahsoka would be great to display with duels and Vader to recreate the end of their fight in season 2.

Its interesting to see the explosion of backers for the cantina recently. Somehow i dont believe we will make all tiers but then i revisit the haslab ghost page and see how many backers that got, and im hopeful.

Hey Bossk, thanks for featuring my question, always a thrill! I've also backed d the cantina. For the last week my gut feeling has been we will only get Greedo unlocked. Unfortunately a few things go against this Haslab - Shorter than usual time to back. the early leak might have killed off an early rush of orders based on excitement and also the fact that we still don't have the Ghost in hand, therefore paying for 2 Haslabs but with noting to show for it. I do think if this could have been handled with a little more care we could have got to 17K. Who knows though, I would love to be proved wrong and would be both shocked and excited if wolfman unlocks!

Yeah! We did it! Let's at least get to TIER 2, Nabrun Leids can hold a lot of cups! I'm pretty happy we at least got Greedo! I know a few people were hating on the stickers, but I'm hoping we get a whole Etsy aftermarket for those poster stickers. I wouldn't mind some Jedi Survivor style posters for the Cantina :)

Hasbro should add all three tires if we pass the 14k mark. The Cantina is very expensive and well above the retail value as is. They use the crowd funding as a bulk order from a retail store, but instead of us paying wholesale, like a retail store, we are paying retail. At least the 6 figures are a $84-90 retail value which brings the cantina base version just over $300 which is a liitle more bareable then what it is.

QFNW: Hi Tim, great video as always. This is my first time commenting because I wanted to say thank you for all your content - it really helped me get started on my TVC collecting journey! I collect Imperial Era figures, vehicles, and ships from the OT/Post RotS movies #theEmpiredidnothingwrong. Since we have seen haslabs funded for the Cantina (A New Hope) and the Sail Barge (ROTJ), it is my hope that we see a haslab themed around the Empire Strikes back. An attack on Hoth with an ATAT, Snowspeeders, snowtroopers, Veers, etc. would be amazing. I'd also love an Executor Bridge haslab with figures like Captain Needa, Admiral Ozzel, and maybe even new TVC figures of the Bounty Hunter squad with your main guy - Bossk. What would your ideal Empire Strikes Back themed Haslab be?

I think the only unlock for Cantina HasLab will be Greedo, with the project hitting around 13k.

Congratz to all funding the Cantina. Pitty we probably won't see the figures from it in the main line. They sure screw the ghost backers on that. I really want Baylan and Shin. Crossing my fingers.

I backed the Cantin today... I was waiting because I wasn't sure if I really wanted it, and I'm also in the middle of trying to downsize my collection (I buy more than just TVC) but for me the Cantina is one of, if not, the FIRST thing I think of when I think of Star Wars. Also like you said, I can always sell it later if I decide I don't want it for whatever reason. The price for me is pretty insane, but at the end of the day I'll make another $500 soon enough, and this is a one time opportunity. Greedo is one of my all time favorite aliens, I really hope we get him. The other two I want mainly to fill out the cantina and really they should've just been included but that's a dead argument at this point. I am really excited for this, and I hope people really band together and make the rest of the tiers happen!

Hi Bossk. QFNW: I know you’ve discussed the “Ring Of Death” scuffing on TVC Card Backs, but I fear Hasbro is never ever going to do anything about it. I just received multiple figures of the latest ANH wave featuring Leia, R2, Vader, X-Wing Luke, and Stormtrooper, and every single one of them (15+ figures 🤦🏻‍♂️) is damaged with the ring of death scuffing. My carded collection is taking a beating now for close to two years with this problem, completely ruining the whole purpose of maintaining a carded collection. Is it time the community rises up and gets very vocal with campaigns, videos directed toward Hasbro, fan site articles detailing the problem, fan petitions, whatever - attempts to get Hasbro to once and for all address this issue and make corrections to the packaging. How hard can it be to increase the size of the packing box by a few centimeters to give the cards some breathing room? I’m tired of chasing cleaner cards at Target and/or Walmart because those don’t exist either…🤷🏻‍♂️. Help me Bossk…you’re my only hope.

Thank you for another great episode. Question for next week: what do you expect to see revealed/pipelined at SDCC and what do you hope to see? I’m assuming we’ll get reveals of the new Ahsoka, Mandalorian, and Bo Katan figures and hopefully the Blurrg. I also suspect we’ll find out what VC326 is. I’m assuming another character from The Acolyte. I’m hoping we’ll see pipelined figures of Balan and Shin and (fingers crossed) the Bad Batch, and maybe a sneak peak at Skeleton Crew.

The Tantive IV-"The World is your Oyster." Cool metaphor Bossk's Bounty! Also cool so much can be done with it once more sets are added on! I'm currently focusing on Leia and R2-D2 mainly with mine, but I also like to display a few Return Of The Jedi figures in there as well just for fun! Cardboard Galaxy has also sold a few fanmade paperstock wall backdrops and floors to customize it. Then he also made that cockpit which I bought one to customize mine! So much can be done with those Tantive IV diorama playsets! They go from just being a diorama to being more of a playset, the more and more they are combined together and customized!

Haslab stretch goals are crazy for just small figures.

I think we desperately need an updated figure of the Naboo Security Forces. Captain Panaka, Naboo Security officers (blue and reddish uniform), and Naboo Security Guards (yellow uniform). I know we have the Naboo Royal guard and Naboo Pilot in the TVC but I’d love to increase the Naboo ranks.

Well until I backed the Cantina that is.My question is how accurate are the Cantina figures? I saw someone’s video saying theres a few discrepancies like Wuher has boots in behind the scenes shots.

Hey Bossk hope all is well, excited that the cantina is actually happening, I really can’t believe they’re doing it!! My QFNW; Just picked up the Lego set with Kelleran Beq in it and it hadn’t occurred to me that if you pretty much combine the Master Sol figure and final duel Obi Wan, with some additional detailing on the tunic and a new head, that’s a new Jedi they could put on a card and he’d be totally awesome I think! What’s a quick top 3 Jedi you wanna see made now that it seems they have the means to?

I’m still annoyed that Hunter is the ONLY member of the Bad Batch that we’ve gotten in TVC…..

I’d love to see a new enclosed Carbon Freeze Chamber with orange lighted panels that you can turn on and off with batteries. Also, once you flip the switch on, the orange lights turn on and a pre recorded message from Vader plays, “The Force is with you young Skywalker…but you’re not a Jedi yet!” We also hear his breathing a couple of times. It comes with Vader, Luke, Chewbacca with leg less C-3PO, Han Solo frozen in Carbonite, Boba Fett and two Ugnaughts. The lift actually works using a little motor and lifts Solo out of the chamber. That’s all I want Haslab, make it happen.

Just a heads up Bossk - the Cantina photo shoot figures, besides those prototypes which are a part of the campaign, are just what those who were involved had in their own collections, NOT PROTOTYPES they obscured to keep them secret. This info came straight from the photographer himself.

Do you think we will ever see an ESB large playset to complete the playset "trilogy"? Out of all the settings from that movie, for me personally I would love a Dagobah playset! I guess other options would be Hoth or Bespin? Do you think we will see a large ESB playset?

Hey, BB, love the show as usual. Question for next week revolves around something I noticed about the 4 characters Hasbro pipelined during the Haslab Cantina reveal live stream last month. They all have something in common: Ben, Luke, Han & Chewie were all released by Kenner in alternative card art when the vintage Kenner line got to Return of the Jedi. In addition to the new figures (and retool for Chewie) on their classic card-backs, how about a four pack release of them with their alternative art for an exclusive (Amazon, maybe, since they seem to like those 4 packs)? Not sure if it would exactly double the sales of the figures, but it would further reward Hasbro's new sculpts.

Great video as always my QFNW. If Star Wars didn’t exist which 80’s franchise would you have gravitated to collecting? Especially with all of the great lines coming back these past few years I could see myself buying some of them. Personally I’d think I would have went Masters of the Universe because of the variety of characters and nostalgia of my after school episodes and Saturday mornings.

Hi Tim, well the Cantina got backed,, but fell one tier short, failing to unlock ARLEIL SCHOUS. My question is, do you think having figures as stretch goals are holding back these HasLabs? The Razor Crest had 5 Stretch Goals and had no problem reaching them, meanwhile the Ghost and The Cantina was all figures for stretch goals, and struggled to meet them all, or fall short. It seems to me, having figures as goals is just laziness on Hasbro count, not using any imagination! Keep up the great videos and see you on the next one!!

Question: Of all of the changes made to the Original Trilogy films over the years, which do you think is the best and which do you think is the worst? For me, adding the windows on Cloud City and enhancing the look of Bespin is the best and, cliché as it is, Greedo shooting first is the worst (although the scene where Han steps on Jabba’s tail is embarrassingly bad).

QotW! With the focus being understandably on the Cantina right now, I think the collector community and crucially Hasbro's focus have completely taken their eye off The Ghost. My question is, do you think Hasbro will release other key figures from the Rebels series? I'm thinking of a Rebels version of The Grand Inquisitor, Agent Kallus, Rukh, AP-5 and Fenn Rau. The Haslab's are all about focusing on world-building and I feel that The Ghost is missing key characters that have interacted with it. C'mon Hasbro!

Great Video BB! Love watching your channel, and I’m happy to see that you have incorporated the figure number to match the episode. QFNW- I just found and picked up the Hasbro Pulse Black Series Force Unleashed figure set with Starkiller and the Stormtroopers. But I’m really surprised that looking back over the 3-3/4” line of Force unleashed figures, that we have not gotten any release of the Rogue Shadow Starship. This was such a pivotal part of the game, and it’s a great design. Would you like to see the Rogue Shadow make it into the Legacy/current 3-3/4” line? I think a new release of this ship would be amazing, and I’m shocked that it hasn’t been done!

Have you been able to get any Star Wars Oreos yet, where you don't know if you're gonna be getting blue cream Oreos for the Light Side or the red cream for the Dark Side? I've bought a couple regular packs, 1 where I got the Dark Side & another where I got the Light Side & also 2 mini packs, both of which were Dark Side.

I really do hope all tires get unlocked for the Cantina because those figures are a necessity in my opinion. But with having said that and how things are looking I don't think it will reach 17,000 unfortunately. I'm not trying to be a negative Nancy but it just doesn't look good as of now. I don't recall that video though the end was familar. Last time i did a question about Andors boots i think you misunderstood me, because i meant in this one instance if they released a 4pk of the other characters with updated boots (or a carded version of the other characters in the correct boots) and the head can be swapped i'd consider the figure acceptable. Mostly since its the only option to get a proper Andor is to release other characters in that outfit with the correct boots and headswap at least for loose collectors. I can't see them redoing the figure like Axe wolves on a cardback unless he wears the outfit in another season. I do agree 100% that errors shouldn't be left in figures and if they aren't going to complete a figure like that.. don't bloody well do it.. Hunter as a plain clone commando.. with the tooling difference (cause hunters outfit is different) would've yielded many more repaints to the line than a single hunter figure without his brothers.

In 2020; things were worse. March school shutdown, also in March me & my lady friend got into fighting each other for a bit because of some guy I saw her with, and also in 2020 I was up for grabs for the retro collection empire assortment that yr. I didn't find Luke & boba til 2021?? 2022?? It happened around my birthday when I went to the cave in Sacramento. I got lucky there found boba & Luke bespin. I got han solo hoth first, then found Leia & lando in my Walmart after. Sitting there un the pegs. Now I'm waiting for Yoda come in I just bought him recently off eBay for 51$ dollars. The whole assortment is complete. Un that note; I recently received vintage star wars figures from empire & return of the Jedi. I finally got the rebel hoth soldier & bespin Leia now complete with her replacement cape I bought for her off eBay recently. They didn't come with they're accessories my dad & my aunt bought them for me down there in San Diego un his trip I received Uncle Owen and Aunt beru from Potf 2. & General madine & woof the skiff guard. Boussh Leia, & the ugnaught recently. My classic retro collection star wars NON-DISNEY mind you is building. Once I receive Yoda I'm going get working collecting the first wave next. And maybe finish up return of the Jedi. I'm not going bother with modern media stuff from Disney. I collect the real star wars. I'm real star wars guy. Not Disney star wars person. Still have some of their stuff from prior yrs ago. I'm interested in just finishing the main 3 movies. And possibly working getting Episodes 1-3 next if I can even afford it. I may not.

Hey BB QFNW. Actually two questions. Firstly the E-wing will be out by the end of the year hopefully with the LT Callahan pilot. Do you see Hasbro releasing any ships , vehicles or playsets in the near future? If so what do you think they could be ? Also Hasbro have said Wuher and the Tonnika sisters are exclusive to the Cantina. But do you see them eventually releasing them individually as they are well sort after figures ? Hi BB QFNW: With the pipeline reveal of the Forge set of The Mandalorian do you think we can have a new tooling, or updated, Armorer figure with a soft goods shoulder piece like the retro collection line? i can not think of another figure that can came with the set and i would really love to have a new Armorer with some extra accesories.

Have to disagree on a Haslab every year. We would either A: be like we are this year, buying a new one before we got the previous one. Or B: having a Haslab around the 4th quarter holiday season after the previous one was delivered, which is just not a wise business model. As hard as it is to imagine, some parents might put their kids and family members Christmas gifts ahead of backing a Haslab. Every other year is my preference for TVC Haslabs. But my QFNW is: In your personal preference, would you have preferred different figures for the tier unlocks and what would they be? Just a personal preference, but I would have chosen BoShek as Tier 1, the Wolf Man as Tier 2, and Blue Snaggletooth as Tier 3. I love Nabrun Leids, but the Saga collection figure is a great looking figure and even comes with Kabe suitable for now. I think BoShek is in much more need of an update. Greedo is a 96er and should be made in mainline even if there was no Haslab. The Wolf is a good choice because it likely would never have been outside a Haslab. But Blue Snaggletooth would pretty much guarantee we got to 17k and beyond in my opinion. Sorry so long. 😊

Hey Bossk. For the Plunder long and Plunder strong Kickstarter by Lone Coconut was going on, we were short backers to unlock one of the last figures. After the Kickstarter funded, Lone Coconut sent out emails to those who backed, giving us the option to pledge the extra amount to get the last figure individually, only for those who pledge the extra amount (I hope that makes sense). Do you think Hasbro would do this for the Wolfman figure we didn't unlock? Even if they charge $40 for each individual person to get it, I'd pledge the extra amount to fund him. Plus, it'd make the figure that much more special! I wanna hear your thoughts on this, and maybe we can make some noise for Hasbro to hear and get this to become a reality!

Sugar overload from America. Little Bossk's bi pod laser cannon with the snow trooper. I've got the original tripod laser cannon with a couple of snow troopers the black series commander and the 30th anniversary snow trooper did have the 2 original 80s snow troopers they've been put in the 80s AT AT blizzard force showing it's age with the discolouration and some missing stickers.

Hello Tim, I have a QFNW; The Haslab backed but for the first time, did not unlock all tiers. Do you think this will cause Hasbro to maybe shy away from future play-sets no matter how iconic, and stay with vehicles instead, since they seem to have a full success rate? Or, do you think Hasbro will rethink their tier structure when proposing another play-set?

Nah, they need to take a break next year, sure for our wallets but also just so that hasbro can get caught up with the ghost and cantina. With squid head, we just now got the major players for the barge. Still no kallus, inquisitor, S1 Hera-Ezra-Sabine, ahsoka, old Rex, and ex imperial droid on the horizon. Hasbro needs to do either -no haslab -TBS haslab or -TBS haslab/TVC 2nd barge campaign
