Nick, you and Tim are the first two people I thought of the cantina was announced. I feel like saying congratulations and lighting a cigar with you. Nothing says Star wars more than this and TVC fans seem to be getting a first class product. No one will contribute more to the success of this than yourself and Tim. Both of your channels are fantastic and the pillars that hold up this collection. I believe the project will be fully backed with all tiers and I will be deciding between 1 or 2. The force will be with you always.

With 2 Cantinas you could have a dining table sized display with the 2 bar pieces joining back-to-back. Usual crowd on the left and Droids only on the Right (maybe).

I love your display arrangement. I have a very similar arrangement. I love that you have an Indiana Jones figure in your Cantina display, inspired me to do the same. I also have a few random G.I.Joes in mine. I like yourself purchased 2 Deluxe sets because I get 2 of everything these days. I however am planning on a third Base set right before it ends to get 3 of each figure mainly but then I can display the 70 plus patrons I currently have in my Cantina display in proper surroundings.

Thanks for your sharing. I also backed two units too. It looks great. This was the first time backing a HasLab project so I also purchased the premium membership which was about the same as shipping cost. It evened out.

I will be backing. Will be getting the standard one. My first haslab. A must have for every starwars collector. Always wanted something like this as a kid. Making one out of lego was the closest to getting this

Congratulations on the sets. I hope they surpass your expectations. The final stretch goal could have been all the figures loose inside a Box with with detailed Black/White art like the recent troop builder boxes. I would like to see a TVC George Lucas (1976 Director's outfit, Tunisia Desert) figure so he could relax in the cantina as well with the patrons.

One deluxe cantina in Australia is $1000 aud. The base one is $750., aussie collectors have to fork out an additional $ 250 dollars for the privilege, when you factor in the exchange rate. The money to buy it isnt the problem, its completely the PRINCIPLE.

Given that it's such a high-end item, the modular parts/Alcove walls should be weathered/textured on both sides, (ie including the curved archway entrances on both sides of the bar). Front and Back, so outside/extended dioramas can be set-up and displayed.

Wanted to say, if it backs all the way, people don't seem to realize that all the figures that we get with the Cantina are carded special for this Haslab, any figures we get after this won't have the same cards, so, that alone makes the figures worth more.

I’ve decided to cancel all my TVC/TBS Acolyte preorders to offset the cost of backing a 2nd base Cantina. I would much much rather have MOC Tonnikas/Wuher figures than spend one cent on the crap characters/figures from The Acolyte. The day has finally come where Disney’s garbage has led to me no longer being a completionist. I have absolute zero desire to spend on The Acolyte, so now my funds can be redirected toward OT focused items going forward. It kinda feels liberating at the moment, but we’ll see if FOMO sinks in down the road. Given how awful TA is I suspect though the figures will be readily available at a significant discount. Enough of that crap….let’s get this Cantina backed folks! 😬

At this pace the stretch goals wont be hit. We must double our efforts… I’m hoping to back two myself, can guarantee one deluxe (thank you tax refund) but will have to see how things go before being able to back a second.

Really hating myself for not having picked up the Modal Nodes package earlier to go with my Cantina. I would display them inside one of the alcoves since that’s basically how they shot that scene in LA. Really hoping they do a restock before they’re ready to ship this bad boy. No doubt it will back, but do you think we will hit all the tiers?

I’m looking through your playlists trying to find footage/cometary on how your have the x-wing and snowspeeder, etc connected to the wall brackets and whatnot. Is there a “ships on the wall tour” video? I’ve seen you comment on this sort of thing many times, and was hoping to find a vid dedicated to it. 👊🏾

I backed the deluxe version. I have a glass top coffee table for mine. If it comes down to the wire I may back another standard. This is the best haslab since the barge.

Remember… the Ghost is coming soon as well… I think people try to convince themselves of certain things. And that’s okay. But as far as the floor is concerned… I’m gonna add something glossy for the floor. Or maybe some styrene with little tiles etched in. Set up some lighting. I can’t wait to set it up with the Cantina music in the background. I HOPE we get all the figures!!!! I WANT THAT WOLFMAN THE MOST. Then Greedo. The BEST part is that they’re giving you so many figures!

I am so glad I am not a carded collector! Lol The only Haslab I went in for two, was the Sentinel. That was already a big hit, when the campaign ended. I don't think, I will be doing that again! Lol. If anything, the GI Joe Classifieds were prime for multiples.

I can just barely afford to back a single basic version, so you're lucky if you can back more than one! I'm trying to scrape together an extra 100 bucks so I can back the deluxe version. I just dont see it reaching 17k. Will people back out if they see it wont reach all tiers? Its a much harder sell if you only get 3 figures. Its not for me, but congrats to the guys who backed it. I hope you get all tiers

I'm planning on displaying the deluxe version in 360 degree / coffee table mode. Trouble is, it looks like crap from any angle other than the front door. The back of the booths are unfinished garbage. How they missed this is a mystery.

Do you have the ROTS Wookie Flyer? The Wookie pilot has a good sitting position that would look good in the Cantina.

I wonder if it’s justifiable to back a base and deluxe because Hasbro may have missed an alcove on either side. Based on all diagrams, there are four a side, not 3.

I'm tired of the complaints about it being too expensive. Let's break it down. If fully funded at 17,000, we get 6 figures, all of which are newly tooled figures. That's $120 retail. Then there's packaging, that's right, packaging. We all want that beautiful box right? That's included in the cost, which for something this big is going to be anywhere from $100 to $150. Now, all that being said, that makes the deluxe offering $280. That's the same price as Boba Fett's Throne Room. And that isn't near as cool as the Cantina or the figures. The Tonika sister's alone should be enough incentive to back this.

Where are all your carded figures kept?

If it came with one set of figures carded and one set loose, I'd back. I just can't justify paying $400 for extra figures. Even if it funds, I don't think all the tiers will be unlocked. In that case I can see people backing out at the last minute.

I still can’t justify this offering as it would cost me a fortune filling it with figures. This fact is probably why Haslab decided to offer the Cantina (in the first place) as many buyer’s will end up exceeding the cost of the Cantina purchase just buying and filling it with figures.

Save your money. Hasbro will release figures at retail. Including the tonika sisters. Look at the wording exclusive card back not figure. And every star wars haslab, the included figures are rereleased at retail.

In all honesty it is over priced but especially not worth it if all stretch goals don’t back. They should give the figures automatically because the stretch goals rarely get reached.

I've backed all the previous SW Haslabs, Barge, Crest and Ghost however I'm really disappointed in this project especially for the cost. Wish it looked more like the Master Lego Cantina so I'm going to take a pass on this one. With that said we all know Hasbro will release the "exclusive figures" to the mainline and I'm really excited for them. Hope all that want this project get this project and keep TVC collectors going. I apologize for commenting belatedly- Here’s my thing: I feel your second purchase (and every backer’s multiple purchases) should actually *count* towards the tier unlocks, but they don’t. Why does Hasbro unlock tiers by number of “backers” as opposed to actual Units Sold??? This really irks me. Every unit sold should count toward unlocking the tiers, but instead they basically measure by what is essentially “households.” If you’re forking out your hard-earned money for a second Cantina, it should *count*. Color me frustrated, Hasbro.
