The Hastings Diesels Group hosted a railtour with their DEMU, 1001, from Hastings to Exeter Central and back, the outward via the GWML, (strikes mean' t it had a clear line), and returning via the West of England Line, (apart from having to go via Chandler's Ford and Eastleigh due to engineering works). Filming locations were Bruton on the outward and Crewkerne on the return.
