@@BassManStrikes They sell them! You just have to call them and they will create a order on-demand for you since it's not listed online. I just bought two of them for my Newport NV- Series 55 LB trolling motor to use with this mount as well. I just have to see how to adapt the swing arm with the TM Control Box Cover and shaft.

Just use a relay and a kill switch, the 100amp one on Amazon works great. You can also get a magnetic kill switch for it, way better than the standard outboard motor ones.

@@BassManStrikes I figured out the relay you have and have it now. For what its worth - I threw it on the bench and tested it. The coil is 86.6 ohms resulting in a calculated and real draw of about 140 mA or about 1.5 w. Actually better than the listing specs. Thanks for your help.

I used a piece of black gorilla duct tape :-) works perfectly

It's just the newport mount with a 12v brushless haswing motor. I removed the head and shortened it and then ran the brushless esc potentiometer wires to a throttle, works awesome and wayyy less expensive.

I used a step bit and drilled it out until it fit.

@@BassManStrikes … what size step bit? … I have one that goes to 3/4 inch

@@butchmiller3970 , I used a 1 1/8 but I went like half way. The 3/4 would probably work. When I got close I used the step bit by hand so as not to make the hole too big.

@@BassManStrikes you've been answering a couple questions for me in the FB groups as well - most recently the hobbywing one... I am going to take your advice now that I have this mount and get the haswing. I actually came back to this video to see if the shaft fit was an issue but I can see you have it rigged just fine so I assume its a 1 1/8 shaft. I think I'm just going to drill new holes in the mount to fit the titan better but I like your idea of an aluminum plate as a backer to distribute the loads a little better. The guy who owned my Titan previously was a tournament pro and had a torqueedo on it so I imagine it would have broken a long time ago if it were going to. Any other advice or gotchas for this combo before I start? I feel like I want to rig a bungee setup for a reverse damper instead of using a line. The way I use the boat I will be in and out of reverse all the time but always at low power. Thanks again for your help.

it's stronger and looks a bit nicer but functionality wise the DIY minkota mount was fine and had a better quick release setup (DIY) check out this group on facebook and ask questions about the haswing there, tons of great info from prior haswing builds folks have done: facebook.com/groups/708485535876457

Nothing right now, the 100ah lifep04 plus the efficient brushless is more than enough to tool around any lake or river around here 😁
