Plot twist... He's totally fine and healthy. He just wanted to get back at the assholes who made him jump in, so he faked the screams of pain so they would get killed by the real killer.
My middle school history teacher used to tell us that every civilization had “Jim’s” whos job it was to eat unknown berries and food. Alan is that Jim of the group
First time playing I got the hatch. I sucked badly and my teammates got downed because they kept coming by for me. Well when I was the only one left and the killer (Trapper) cornered me, he didn’t kill me right away. He pitied me, so I crouched and went to do ‘suggestive’ thing to the killer, which the guy playing as the killer freaked out by backing up and swinging his head back and forth saying no. I took that opportunity and ran. Got hit and was being chased, but I stumbled into the hatch. Everyone in the lobby was angry at me for being terrible, but couldn’t help but laugh at what I did.
It's always the one who says this is a stupid idea that gets killed. My dnd character almost died to a crocodile in a similar situation. I refused to go until everyone else went, and when I finally decided to cross the river, it attacked me.
A little detail, the hatch spawns once the number of generators repaired is 1+ more than the number of survivors remaining in the trial. So the hatch couldn't spawn yet as the 4 survivors haven't done 5 generators yet
@@infernaldaedrawhich was insanely broken as keys were instantly and even using the new mechanic now for keys it still opens much faster than a door, and makes things like no way out, blood warden, and remember completely useless.
@@jonathanberry8656 blood warden was added later. It's almost like the developers were too lazy to actually figure out how killer updates will affect gameplay
Can we just appreciate Adam's on-point head movement while everyone's looking at the hatch? His body language says 'hey, just finish with the damn generator!'
Hmm… good joke would be for Michael to fall into the hatch and get transferred to a ‘toon universe where none of them actually die. Even the completely emotionless Michael Myers would eventually get frustrated and/or go crazy. (Wait, is he already crazy?)
What if every single other slasher in the game is waiting at the bottom of that hatch; all of them in white shirts standing behind the couch that you land on dressed in a pink shirt with a unicorn on the front.
I never realized weird the hatches are. They're just randomly in the middle of the field and you don't know where it'll actually take you but the survivors trust it enough to jump in.
Yeah it is a weird thing. I remember when I first started the game, the killer was trying to be nice and dropped me onto of the hatch cuz I was the last alive. My only thought not knowing what the smoky black hole was "you missed the death hole bugger, now watch me crawl away at snail speed!"
This hatch I found baffles me. As I witnessed the last Survivor being, yet again, the victim of the dreaded hook I stumbled upon it as I slowly backed away. I finally found my keyhole. With my last strength I opened it, entered its tunnels and somehow found my way to the campfire. Now I sit here contemplating its purpose. Is hope more important for the Entity than I thought? Is this hatch just a treat you give a dog to as encouragement? For now I take what I can get.~ Benedict Baker's Journal
Ff for those that don't play dbd hatches actually are an alternate way to escape they spawn when there is one gen left and they can be opened with a key, another way for them to open is to be the last survivor alive and it opens it self
@@onlywhiskers658 nope it also spawns if there is one gen left no matter how many survivors there are, although if there is >1 survivors alive it is openable by key only
Nope. Over a year now it's been, so as long as there was one survivor (only) the hatch would instantly be open. There are the other ways it'd be available yeah but as for when there's only one person left alive. Yeah. Always had to have ears open when the killers would tear through the team quickly. As far as the key part...I think the key is the 1 Gen thing. Beyond that I think that's all?
i would have loved if michael just either stood there watching them to get his thing up or he stood by the hatch and waited for one of them to jump in and catch him mid animation
Bro Ace got his Cake stolen. Hes got a flat ass now. That smoke demons building up his dumpy until he can crush the entity with his absolute DUMP TRUCK.
You clearly only started playing a year or 2 ago. Hatch used to appear when u did 1 gen for each survivor still alive (4 alive, hatch appears at 1 gen, 3 alive hatch at 2 gens, etc) so the game could just end abruptly after killing someone if 3 gens were done
Canonically all the survivors, and killers, understand the rules of the game. The entity is the one who makes the game, and explains it to them. It's also probably what the black void underneath the hatch is.
yea my first time ever going to the hatch was terrifying i didn't know what it was and since the killer dropped me there i tought he killed me by making me fall into some sort of sacrificial basement or something.
When I didn’t knew about much about dbd I thought survs (in lore or smthg) jump into another lvl of trial instead of escaping like normally just because of how menacing it looked.
Back then there was a thing survivors did where one person had a red map and another had a red key. They would do 2 gens and everyone would dip on the third. One of the most dumbest thing ever to see
