In this video I order Japanese Ricefish eggs and hatch them and also medaka fry. I show how I raised them and show their behaviour plus tips on how to keep them healthy. #Aquarium #Pond
I've just recently subscribed, looking forward to more updates .I've just finished a wildlife pond for my wife. Now I'm hoping to have my own pond and Medaka seem to be perfect for it.l just need to find someone to get stock from ,I'm in Kent.
Thank you so much for the video! I just got red cap and orange medaka rice fish, it was so cool to see the female holding eggs but I want to learn more so I can help hatch these beautiful babies! I hope you're having a blessed day thanks for sharing! 🙏🌿🐟🌿💚
Great video - you say keeping the tank at 75 degrees - yet also mention an outdoor pond. Will these little guys cope with a british winter or would you have to protect them from the coldest temperatures?
Hi, new sub from Australia. I’m thinking of making a little rice fish pot pond on my back deck. Being in Australia, our temp can get pretty hot in summer. Where I am, up to about 40 deg Celsius. Will that be too hot for them? Great channel BTW❤️🇦🇺
That should be fine, if you’re worried about the temperature on a really hot day maybe move it to the shade but these fish really love sunshine and heat
Hi, I just found your channel, I really enjoy your videos. Can you have too many snails? Also, what do the shrimp bring to the party? Do they contribute to the ecosystem?
Hi I think u can have to many snails most people will keep them in check when there numbers grow, shrimp will eat any uneaten food help keep the tank cleaner, and sometimes some shrimp will even clean fish eggs but not eat the eggs so can help ur success rate a little, yes they do they help keep the whole tank clean for you eating leftovers and biofilm\ algae off the serfaces in the tank
I have snails and a ton of shrimp in my rice fish tank. It’s the cleanest tank I have with little to no visible algae. Granted it is planted. The snails will be a good indicator if you’re feeding too much since they eat left overs/algae.
Hi, I'm Iván from "Acuarioscubi", a small Spanish RU-vid channel, I would like to do some collaboration with you in some way since I liked your channel, I want to reproduce the shrimp jar, if you can think of any form of collaboration between the two write me , thanks mate
