This was very helpful. Once the photos are renamed will the metadata hold if the photos are uploaded or copied to another place such as Apple Photos on Mac, Google Photos or Forever?
You can use the Batch rename feature to change the name using the Date Time: Date Created. I tested this and it seems to work. I wish you could choose the Date Taken field but that wasn't available to select.
