If I'm picking up on what you seem to be liking about this then you should absolutely check out the song "Pull The Thorns From Your Heart" by Senses Fail. It's VERY heavy and there is a little bit of melody throughout the song, but most importantly it has one of the most positive lyrical stances their singer, Buddy, has ever offered throughout their entire catalog. Glad you guys are well, cheers!

From this same album Another Day Another Vendetta, Doomsayer are the two best and most intense songs. Every Hatebreed song is so uplifting it is like the bible of positive lyrics. I bought their EP Under the knife the day it came out in 1996 without knowing who they were and I've been a fan ever since. I also bought MetallicA -Ride The Lightning that day my favorite MetallicA album.

You should leave your early live videos up at the beach. They were priceless. :-)

Well...didnt much like the song as I felt they were simply yelling at me...not much diversity in the guitar mostly just "djent" all chords no solos, no vocal range..basically just a screamfest, which to me is kinda like a shooter game once you played, or in this case heard it, for like maybe 30 min it just becomes the same as all the others doing the same motif. Just my opinion, but its nice to see you guys respecting us viewers and diversifying..

I know now I am a grouchy old man when I can't stomach bands that SHOUT at me. I'm not retarded, I can hear! It always seems to me that the louder the shout the less quality the song. To the people who love this style of music - good on you, there's room for everyone on the music bus.

Hatebreed are an interesting choice for you guys. I saw them live once, at a fairly low-rent club in West Palm Beach, way back in 2000 (kind of amazing that they've been at it for as long as they have--I think their first EP or split 7-inch came out in, like, the mid-90s, and their debut was in 1997). One of the most intense gigs I've ever seen. Hardcore band, so short songs--their set went maybe an hour but had 25 songs, and they absolutely crushed it. They're an awesome band in that context, but with their records, I lost interest after about the first 4, which is when it occurred to me that I never heard anything new. They found their lane and aren't changing for anyone, which, all the power to them: there's no faulting in sticking to what you know works for you, but as a listener, when you realize that a song on album #7 sounds just like a song from album #3, it starts to get monotonous. I'd stick with the debut, "Satisfaction Is The Death Of Desire." It kicks ass, and you'll already have the full picture of anything they could or would do afterwards...

Loved the lyrics, loved the music, but don't like the vocals. Keep rocking! Peace!

Love Hatebreed musically but lyrics are somewhat repetitive. Good message in them, just not enough.
