Also important to note re: student loan forgiveness-the insanely high and predatory interest rates. A lot of people would have been able to pay off their tuition if not for the interest rates.

Hey Dana, the student loan forgiveness was primarily INTEREST. yes, I have an MFA from UPenn and a BFA from the San Francisco Art Institute, I paid back 40 thousand of the 60 thousand I borrowed, but my debt as of last year was 138 thousand. Many of the lenders would put you in forbearance when you couldn't afford to pay and they had a field day with interest. Most of the debt I accrued, even after scholarships was in grad school, where I was offered private loans to pay rent etc. My loans were over 25 years old and eligible for forgiveness with or without Joe, but what he helped with was the insidious ways that they would have extended these loans in perpetuity because of forbearance and other tactics. Welcome to capitalism.

Love Jawls! But "Jawls The Revenge" was my favorite. (Jamaican voice) "Mike!? Ya been down there all damn day mon!" We always had to get the belt though. My granny and mother would make me "go pick a switch." And they'd say, "You better pick a gif one too or I'LL go get one." The worst part was when they'd get a switch and start cleaning it and pulling the leaves and stems off and start practicing with it. 😅 Then you'd usually get one more warning. "Now... you let me catch you doing it again." 😂😂😂

Great episode, keep up the good work... Unless you're really tired or hungover someday, you can mail it in, still be better than other comedy podcasts

My sweet neighbor waters plants on our condo deck before daylight so the owners don't get angry and she was telling me she heard someone laughing and thought it was a couple having 'relations' in the fitness room. And I said, "it's me silly, listening to Super Fly while on the bike! " Hearing Dana's impressions almost as good as "relations".😅

David Spade!!!! U almost caused me to die in a car crash!!! U MFer! I was listening to your ONLY AUDIO book in my car. Laughing so hard at your upbringing in AZ Ugh! So do a whole show on your tragic dad please-as Dana suggested. And give a disclaimer not to listen while driving! ❤❤❤❤

Not only do they have those little ice cream cart self-driving delivery things, but in Chicago recently I saw what appeared to be a small self-driving car that was delivering food, driving on the actual road, with no driver. It was basically like a Mini Cooper, but even smaller, and had a strange look to it (the front was just kinda a triangular shape pointed forward since it didn't need space for a driver or passenger).

Parents breaking eggs on their kids heads for TikTok fame is worse than you think. Because it means that the will for fame (probably combined with other factors) overrides their maternal instincts. No joke, I'm not kidding around.

Back when real coffee mugs and metal spoons were more common, my friend the joker would take the spoon from his freshly stirred hot coffee and as he went to put it down, would touch the back of the spoon on the back of his victim's hand. Hot enough to make one jump, but not hot enough to burn. I think the egg gag has the same "harm free" angle, but I also think if you get a bowl of battler in the face you had it coming.

It basically was the biggest sci Fi movie franchises entire point, cut to Dana's Arnold impression....
