Hi Sarah, I started watching because I have 6 children and I was looking at your grocery hauls. Like wow! Awesome food choices. My budget is super small for 8 people, but we have been blessed with a discount store in our area that helps stretch our money a ton! Then, I saw your birth stories (I love birth stories)! I've had home births for all my babies but each was a bit different. I also had two miscarriages, one after the other, after my second child. The first was at 14 weeks and the second was at 9. I was worried about not having another child after that, and I really wanted another little one. God really does work with us to grow our faith during those tough times, doesn't he?! I've had 4 healthy babies since then, Praise the Lord! Christian love and prayers to you and your beautiful family ♡

Okay - I just paused your video to watch your 1 year anniversary story and felt so encouraged by it. Thank you for being so real. I relate to your personality so much, and everything you shared about your fears and just doing it, I feel. I'm considering starting a vlog of my own... something only the Lord could put in my mind. Our last baby was born with Down syndrome in March 2018, and so many people keep asking me to share the hope and joy (and difficulties) that we experience as a family of 8 - from his diagnosis and how we help him to homeschooling to organization to grandparents across the street! You guys are one of the few authentic channels, very useful information and I enjoy to see what you manage to do with your hard work. I am a homeschooling mom of 4 (11 through 4 3/4 years old) I can't have any more kids and I made many mistakes which set us behind but seeing you and Darci Isabella I am learning a lot, and am planning on passing down the homeschooling journey and wisdom so that my kids know how to do it better than what I did. I simply cannot express what a positive thing you all are in what you are doing here and on Instagram. I do not like the term “shut in” but after becoming wheelchair bound and not driving on own, I do feel limited in things a bit. I look forward to your posts and you truly can and inspire and cheer up with them. Plus, just entertaining, and I learn things, too. I look forward to the future with you and the family....so many things as the children grow up, and further their education , find their inner talents, etc. more travels, I could go on and on. Happy 2 year vlogging anniversary. I just found your channel a few months ago and am so glad I found it. I look forward to watching your new videos. I totally agree that one reason we love watching vloggers is because they live different lives from us. I only have three children (twin sons who are 21 and an almost 13 year old daughter). One of our sons is married so only two of our kids are still at home. I love watching how big families live. I am truly encouraged by your videos. We are also a homeschooling family and love watching other homeschooling family videos. :)

Strange to think of ppl not liking you all. You are a blessing! A beautiful family. Maybe those ppl are jealous. I find myself fighting covetousness at times when we watch you. There are “seasons” in life where the grass seems greener for everyone else. We are homeschoolers in Alaska, and it can get lonely. I have been hardcore binge watching your RU-vid videos amidst being stuck at home in quarantine. I have loved every minute, and being able to see such wonderful Christians willing to share their faith in a way this huge. I admire you guys for being able to take care of that many kiddos. I love kids, but that just seems so overwhelming. God had truly laid his hand upon your family, and blessed you guys in unimaginable ways, and it is wonderful to see in other people how BIG our God really is. This has been a wonderful way to get some positive vibes during this pandemic, and a great way to get my mind off of some crazy and stressful stuff in my life.

I’m 22 and in medschool so a family isn’t nowhere in my near future however watching your family, your husband and your lovely kids always warms up my heart and brings me so much joy. I really enjoy your videos. I find your organization with home, schooling and children utterly fascinating. I clean and organize with added energy after watching a video, lol! I live on a ferry access only island, so I shop in bulk and cook from scratch as we have one restaurant and a tiny store on the island. I am not a religious person and I almost didn't start watching for that reason. But you and Solo are respectful and do not proselytize to the extreme. It's clear what your values and faith mean to you which is really wonderful. You are clearly tremendous parents and partners for one another. Your viewpoint and comments on the always prevalent trolls and haters are spot on! To respond to them gives them power and fuels what are truly significant personality disorders. And I’m not just saying it b/c this video is all about “haters”! 😁 I’ve watched on and off for several months and have enjoyed watching your family live life, clean house, cook, do school etc. you make ME feel like I can be a calmer, more intentional mom. 💗 I have 4 kids and homeschool. My oldest is medically fragile and 16 years old. Our two middle boys are bio and our youngest was adopted from China. We recently became licensed foster parents. I think you have so much courage to be on RU-vid! I’ve thought about starting a channel but I’m very afraid of the hateful comments. Especially caring for my daughter with significant special needs. Congratulations on 2 years! Your channel has really grown since I've been here almost since the beginning. I always enjoy your content. I can understand your angst you had about the haters. At one point I thought about beginning a channel. I was alone, raising two children by myself, working, and attending college. Lord knows I could have used the income if my channel was successful but was intimidated by not enough knowledge to start and the haters. I don't know if anyone else received a message from RU-vid or not but I have a couple of times asking me to fill out a survey of what I liked and didn't like on RU-vid.
