HMT is privately owned land that you pay a membership to ride on, their property, their rules. If you refused to consent to the search, I doubt the officers would violate your fouth amendment, but it's highly likely you would be told to leave, your permit would be terminated and you would never be allowed back. And it would be the representatives of the land owners telling you to leave and not come back, not the county or state.
Way to go, Eddy. Plastic can always be replaced, but not the people. I've a close call right there too. I like that you are taking the time to make sure all are good. Not to many do that.
#respect to both of you for the safety equipment. As both a Dirt bike and KRX owner, I am so impressed when I see people fully geared with safety equipment, especially on bikes. Back when I rode in the late 70s, we wore cut offs, no head gear, and tennis shoes. I look back at that and realize how ignorant we were.
This guy acted so nice even though the bike kinda hit in cause the bike was goin way faster I ride in west va a lot on my 2 sport quads just gotta be careful and in happy to see the trail hospitality we need that glad no one got hurt great video! You got my respect and I don’t know you. You guys a good people!
I was riding HMT on my dirt bike a few weeks ago and crashed and broke my ankle Got a ride out and ride to the hospital by some great people Was going to ride out with multiple broken bones And a SXS showed up Only people we saw all day Super Thankful for the help getting out 61 years old so gonna stick with my SXS here on out This video brings shows the dangers of oncoming traffic at HMTs Common issue on the weekend I’ve had many close calls
I ride a dirt bike but that rider was going way too fast around a blind turn. That’s one reason I ride with a finger on the front brake. That has saved me several times from a crash.
To anyone interested in vacationing on the trail system there's this lovely resort outside of matewan called Devils Backbone Adventure Resort, with tons of housing options for all your buddies and very reasonable prices for cabins, as well as a restaurant and gas on property. Ya'll should check it out!
Last time I went, as a passenger, the crew I was with were motoring around those trails and the first thing I thought of was there was no way I would ride a bike on those trails just because of that right here.
Hey buddy that was a sweet video. A bit scary there. I shared this on my fb page. I am ner this. Bluefield WV mercer country. Im about to open a B&B for you trail guys. I was looking for some footage. But i need a webpage etc still. Im about done painting trim etc. Thinking advertising now. October all month is peak color. 👍
This exact thing has happened to me before as well. About 15 years ago in Wolf Pen Gap (Mena, AR). I consider the word accident to mean noone at fault. In your case and my case, the dirt bikers are negligent. They are going faster than they can stop their bikes. Yours was very fortunate. In mine, The dirtbiker broke his hand, broke his rear shock, and took out the right front side of a brand new Rhino 700. Unfortunately we did not know until after they left that our tie rod end was broken and we were in the middle of the trails near dusk with a completely disabled vehicle. The lack of ownership and responsibility in my situation pisses me off to this day.
Hey, There! Wonderful clip! Would it be OK if we used it in a youtube video we're making and maybe share it on our social media? We'll credit you in the video and all descriptions. Thank you! :)
It amazing to think that whole area once was the home of thousands of Cherokee, Shawnee, Chickasaw and Osage natives. It must have been a sight to see as a colonist.
What’s going on mate? Would it be ok if I feature this video for a youtube edit that I’m working on? I’ll credit you with watermark on screen of course.
Hey mate, is it OK to feature your clip in a moto edit some time soon? It will be credited in the description & comments section with your name watermarked on the clip. Thanks, MM
I know from the late 60s motorcycle trail bikes ruled It was fun and enjoying, but we lost our rights Because of ATVs/UTV’s have taking trail bikes rights away They are too big for trails. And motorcycles to share. I think trail bike motorcyclist deserve their own trails to ride and to enjoy just like the ATVs and UTVs
@@eddywebster1387 These multi use trails should be one way if not wide enough for 2 SXS to pass. Would save lives and injury. Just can't count on all the yahoos who disregard safety for thrill.
Hey Guy, is it OK to feature your clip in a moto edit some time soon? It will be credited in the description & comments section with your name watermarked on the clip. Thanks
HELLO BUDY, HOW ARE YOU? DO YOU AUTHORIZE ME TO USE A STRETCH OF YOUR VIDEO IN THE EDITION CURIOUS FACTS ON THE TRAFFIC? I WILL LEAVE ALL CREDITS IN THE TMJ DESCRIPTION ALWAYS!
i have had my share of collusions on the outlaw trials....i was thinking the trials was one way on HATFIELD MCCOY....oh well everybody seemed to have the proper gear on which makes a world of difference and everybody was cool about it...accidents happen...it could have been worse
all the more reason these side by sides should not be aloud on the same trails that bikes and quads ride on there to big if that would have been another bike or a quad that bike would have been able to get by without hitting i live in ohio and our trails are not as wide as hatfield mcoys trails its really hard to get by them and 90 percent of the side by side riders think they own the trails and will park in the middle of the trails and not move for riders
@@ashleywynn4923 i don't know what it says on the permit, but that does't mean its enforceable. If its an agreement between land owner/operator, then that is different. But public officials have a constitution they have to abide by.
To much traffic on roads and trails. Who’s liable if someone gets hurt? Put and end to vehicles on trails. If you run over a pedestrian that’s a whole different story
Pedestrians are not allowed on Hatfield McCoy trails. They were purpose built for ATV's, Side by Sides and Dirtbikes. A few sections allow Jeeps, but that's it.
