Just did this trail this weekend same route. Heading in from the road where all the trucks are to the top is way worse at the moment I’ve never been so scared on a trail in my life but we made it up! Dark set in and we were freaking but we conquered it and made it back to Welch!
We did this trail last night. The wash out you hit by that tree. Will put a machine down the mountain. Had to fill it with rocks and branches just to make it across. Lol. Good video bro.
We may hit the Warrior system in October, if we have time to fit it in. Is the High Rocks part of the trail system? If so, what trail number? The black trails looked fairly doable for my group of a 900S, and two 4 wheelers. Loved the drone footage!
Thank you, high rocks is not part of the system and is pretty rough to get there. Big washouts and a nasty rock climb. It will be a tough one for the four wheelers in my opinion. I would go in from the road side. Entering from the school side is even worse. The warrior blacks will be fine for you.
@@TheCanAmCrew thanks for the info. I’m in Indiana, and we have to drive a couple hours minimum to get to any good riding areas. You guys have become a bit of a Hatfield-McCoy guide book for me. We appreciate it.
@@TheCanAmCrew we went down some of the expert only trails with the warning signs but its super sketchy on my quad😂😂not even worth it, i could only do a couple of them, 2wd 400ex. But SxSs are so capable.
Always love me some High Rocks!! Best sxs videos on the tube and best at showing multiple angles and perspectives as well as changing it up from video to video. Plus that dude in the Red Pro seems like a really cool dude!!! 😂🤣😂😂😂🤣
I like the warrior system. It’s great for faster pace riding because the trails are smooth and really wide. It has a few harder trails such as double black 97. It’s a good long climb. Few creek type trails which are always cool. If your in the area it’s definitely worth checking out.
We went up the Pocahontas trail system then took road over to the pinnacle connector and took that into welch, from welch we went into Gary to trail 30. It was a good ride.
@@TheCanAmCrew you almost have to ride some pavement over there to get to the other systems. I’ve tried avoiding it and it’s easier to ride 5-6 miles of black top than try and take trails
Hey Jesse.....great video as usual. Gonna be heading to HMC and Warrior in a couple weeks. How was the red trail heading up to high rocks? I did it a few years ago and remember some really tight switch backs and a steep rutted hill climb near the end. Have some newbies in the group and want to make sure it is not too bad to take them up. Thanks!
That spot is still really bad, I would take them in from the road side, i believe it’s labeled blue. But there is a way to bypass the switch back rutted area and you can head to toward the bridge by the school. You’ll come out behind someone’s house. We’ve done it but it’s not on the map. You just have to guesstimate where the trail is.
Thank you, I’m using the go pro hero 8 blacks and the DJI mini 2 for the drone. It’s just light enough that you don’t need special permits to fly. I think it’s under 150 grams.
We have the 64” machines but if we could go back and do it all over we would buy the 72” the 72 is so much more stability and suspension travel and for the riding we do that means a lot.
Great vids!! Question for you what Mavericks are you in the wife rolling in? I've been debating back and forth between Can-Am and Polaris. I'm without a data Polaris guy but the last ATV I bought was a 2020 Outy XXC. The dealer I'm working with is a Can-Am dealer and they're just hands down better than the two Polaris dealers that I've worked with. So that's really trumping my decision making as to whether to go RZR or Can-Am.
We both have the base model x3 2019 120hp model, ws150 tune, halo front diff locker, they are set up pretty well right now and we haven’t had any major issues. I just hit 7200 miles and my wife is at like 6800. You won’t be disappointed with the x3 platform.
I’m running an oem can am tablet holder. I use a bunch of different apps and maps depending on where I ride but in West Virginia the best set up by far is back country navigator pro app with bob t maps. The app is like 10 bucks and the map is free. You can find it on Facebook by searching Bob t maps under the Hatfield McCoy original site.
@@roark9900 you can find them on the Hatfield McCoy Facebook page wv utv/sxs trail talk. He updated them regularly and posts them on most Hatfield pages.
No we haven’t. I did add a structural steel fan shroud to Sheris front end as part of a brace to showcase a new company’s product line but that’s about it. Mine doesn’t have anything aftermarket added.
@@TheCanAmCrew thanks for the really quick response.you guys do a excellent video’s,me and my son enjoy watching.he just bought a 2022 pro x4.now it’s my turn I really want can am maverick 120 hp,but I fit a little better in pro xp
