Okay, I got this thing. There's this girl who has been watching this boy across her classmate, this boy is very kind.. ("Who has nice eyes" is a metaphor to the kid seeing kindness to whoever he may encounter and so on.) The girl developed a crush for this guy and confessed to him. (However, the confession is direct while the letter represented the words of love she thought of.) The next day though, it was obvious the news spread across the classroom that could have caused it to the boy's dislike towards the girl. This discouraged the girl and that 'heart' (love) she built up for the boy got renewed into the shape of depression. (Hence "I will gather my feelings and my broken heart to make a shape for you")

Writing a letter to your crush doesn’t always work out. I remember my entire class found out when it was meant for him only, one girl in particular told me that we wouldn’t look good together.

This song's making today feel like 4th grade. Strangely nostalgic. Kind of hazy with mild feelings of dread, but some odd bits of love, and feverish traces weaved throughout. Happy but somewhat melancholic and lethargic. Hopping along but not skipping, just bouncing. It's not quite negative.

Reminded me of the time when I had a huge crush on this guy and scrawled his name in my notebook. I found the notebook in his possession later onwards and that's where the bullying begins.

Imagine if the airplane was written by her crush saying, "I love you". But he had to secretly fit in with the others.

So from what I got, the girl really liked this guy but was to shy to talk to him, let alone confront him about her feelings for him. She wrote a love note to him but she wasn't planning on giving it to him. When she finished writing the note she made it into a paper airplane and flung it out the window. Someone found the paper airplane and read the note on it, and told everyone about it. When the guy she liked heard about the note and what it said, he was weirded out. He didn't like her like that. The next day everyone was gossiping about the note, and she found out the guy had read the note and rejected her feelings. She got depressed and eventually committed suicide.

My theory is that the girl likes the boy(of course.) But is too shy to talk to him/confess to him. So she starts to write on the paper to prevent her head from going wild,she folded it into a paper airplane,thinking people would not think it was her. But they figured out. The scattered words and the heart,are all the words she wish she could say to him,but instead they are the words that build up the heart since she can't say them. The next day,she came in,and they found out,and the boy was grossed/weirded out about how she liked him and how she wrote all over the paper like that. This causing rumors and extreme teasing. The girl commited suicide from being rejected and teased.

In middle school I had a journal diary that I wrote in about my fear of socializing to loneliness from lack of friends and a partner. I left it under my assigned desk, not realizing that other people in different classes are assigned there as well, it was gone the next day. I got it back months later from kids I didn't know and it was scribbled in it. The shame and embarrassment still lives with me.

Except for the last part with the apparent suicide, I relate to this song very much. Recently, I confessed my feelings to my first ever crush, and I was rejected. He said it nicely and everything, trying not to hurt me because he is a good friend, but I still feel broken. I didn't have such feelings before I met him, and I didn't really want them. I definitely don't want to feel that kind of love anymore. It does nothing but cause pain. Cats and dogs are better than people who can hurt you, anyway.

Once I wrote an anonymous letter to my crush who was one of my best friends, but because of my handwriting he knew who it was. Now the thing is I was right next to him when he decided to read it. Yeah he stopped talking to me lol.

"Oh he/she already came lets make fun of him/her" then you get this feeling that your world is collapsing, and you even see some "friend" of yours that betrayed you by making fun of you and your situation, and after that you never trusted in anyone and you built a wall in your heart to protect you of this kind of situation, and after that you know are not interested in getting more friends in fact you want to be all alone build a wall to all of the persons that tries to get along with you, and even your family is noticing it, they try to break a little that wall by putting you in some kind of club, they failed because you didn´t got any friend and then you start to build a wall to your family, and then you get is feeling of peace and at the same time this feeling of emptiness and loneliness. And all of this shit happen because kids are cruel and you were very naive and stupid, actually I made a pretty good story in there *Goes to get a notebook* I can write a pretty good story in there :v

I feel this , but its not me who confess it but my crush, my crush know I like him . Back then I get bullied so bad , he know it . So he planning to prank me with him putting some very sweet note he leave on my table. After 5 years I've been bullied in that hell school, I'm finally get "hope" to feel something again after seeing that note. And then the next day, right at my table , he (my crush) sit there with another girl kissing, it's just shit and realize all of that is bullshit, he betrayed and crush down my trust. I relate to this song a lot - It reminds me of someone I really care about. In class, theres a boy I really love. I confessed to him recently. I received no reply, but it seems like he likes another girl in my class. The thought of my heart completely shattering if he says no kills me on the inside. I wish that he'd notice how good I really am. If he never loves me, I might just go off and die.

(i had to rewrite this 3 times bc youtube was being difficult) edit: for clarification i myself is projecting here so if you have a different interpretation thats fine im not here to shoot down all the other theories can we talk about how she says the words she used to shape her heart were ordinary and junk? i may be projecting a bit here but it seems she has a problem with understanding and conveying her feelings, its kind of a blur. the words she wrote down for her confession were dark scribbles and shapes, not actual words. the boy was probably a coping mechanism rather than a crush. she used him to make sense of her insanity- thus he became her whole world. the boy, of course, was uncomfortable and bothered by these feelings he didnt even resiprocate. now that the girls heart- her entire world was basically shattering before her very eyes, she couldnt make sense of anything anymore and she was driven to suicide. again this is pure speculation based on personal experience- im just a random 13 year old after all. sorry if this was too long i had a lot of feelings about this. from my perspective this is an incident where the thought of loving and coping were confused and created a toxic mindset. im not saying the girl was at fault for any of this, its a tragic story and the girl was a victim. ah im rambling again ill just end it here-

I did this recently. I was too scared to walk up to him so I straight up just wrote a note. I said that I wanted to be friends, but ofc I had a crush on him. Long story short, we never talked at all. He never answered the text I sent him since my friend gave me his number, and he never walked up to me since then to even talk. I'll never confess to anything ever again lol.

This is what I got: The girl liked a boy a LOT, and wanted to be his friend, but she was too shy to confront him. So one day, she writes him a note and sends it to him. But because he barley knows her, he returns the note and is kinda weary of her. She's really upset, and of course, her heart breaks. And the heart break is so bad, it ends up killing her, or feeling as if she was killed. I don't know how correct this is, but it's what I assume.

I think the paper/paper airplane is more of a metaphor? So. Its in the pov of a girl who has a crush on a girl (since that theory makes the most sense to me- it was originally made by octwilight) The girl begins by 'writing' how she feels- It could be more of her whispering her feelings about the crush, or imaging confessing to the crush) After school, once she believes her crush and the other classmates are far enough, she says outloud, in the direction of her crush, how she feels, however, people overhear- Which explains how they know its her, the voice. It begins going around, the entire class knows by the time she walk in- The familiar paper airplane she sees on her desk could be people near her desk, doing a mockery of her confession, most likely the original hearers. She begins to get bullied by the class, and being anywhere outside her home (since theres a decently high chance shed run into people who know how she feels about her crush would be at the same place) makes her scared. Eventually, tired of what shes going through, wanting it to stop, she kills herself, most likely stabbing herself in the heart.

i cant relate, but i do know what its like to write all your feeling onto paper that you hope no one finds out is from you, but they do, and they laugh, and they stare

vent maybe idk i had a crush on a boy & confessed, never got an answer, another crush & confessed, got rejected, another crush & confessed, no answer. the last one was most recent & now i have another crush. but im afraid to tell him because ive been rejected multiple times. i wish love wasnt that hard, you get rejected & get scared to confess again so it just fills your heart up with despair and leaves you as a mess being confused & hopeless but then realizing you get too obsessed to the point it hurts so you just feel empty being scared wondering what to do. im delusional so i have tons of crushes. i get obsessed with that person just because of 1 little thing they did with me and then wonder if they like me or not. i want someone so i dont feel lonely. i wonder if i should confess again or just let it be.
