Im not seeing wipers on the enclosed flybridge. how do you maintain visibility in foul weather or rough seas?

Beautiful boat, and as always, you _DO_ pay a bit of a premium for a well respected name like Hatteras. Personal preference, from a maintenance standpoint, the synthiteak looks _ALMOST_ as good as the real thing and doesn't require refinishing every season and the Sport-Fishing heritage definitely shows in the lack of a lower helm station. . I'm sure the Hatteras engineers knew what they were doing, but from what I know about gyros and stabilization, it seems the SeaKeepers would be more effective/sensitive if they were on the center line of the hull.

A lower helm is optional, but I don't see a reason to of you are going to enclose a flybridge.

@@blewyd If the flybridge is completely weather tight then I agree with you, but isenglass type enclosures are _never_ weather tight, at least none I've ever encountered lol

@@michiganengineer8621 with a hardtop, we have never experienced any water leaking into our flybridge that is enclosed. I will say, the canvas is only 1 year old, so after time it might, but no leaks so far. As to temperature and humidity, we use a dehumidifier and have an air-conditioning installed on the hardtop, but nothing beats a lower helm station. I agree with your statement, though

Nice yacht but pricey. The below deck accommodations are a little Spartan but on the main deck and flybridge are first class views and comforts.

The tiny American flag not properly flown caught my eye. The small details when not looked after makes me skeptical.

It probably cost the original owner north of $4M, so not _too_ bad. And remember, you're paying a premium for the name Hatteras as well.

You have to remember the age and condition of this yacht. Pretty much a new yacht for a lot less than what I would cost to buy it brand new.

Understand what you both mean yet personally I’d get a Sunseeker and save some money in the process. Haven’t been on a Hatteras so can’t judge if they are better quality yet from the video it seems not.

@@LordLauderdale I think the quality is about the same between the two judging by reviews I've seen from various people. I think the Hatteras _may_ give a slightly dryer ride in rough water due to the hull design. MY personal preference would be a Silent 55 and save a few bucks as well.
