Around 25:45, when you're looking out over the river, I love the illusion that the boat's in the water!

I'm from North Carolina. There is a city here named Hatters, NC on the outer banks. I'm wondering if the content creator of this island is from there! It is very reminiscent of the actual town. It would be interesting to know! Great town!

I think the 3 rows of houses are meant to be a mall

Cool illusion. I love how use of the Medieval Wall makes the houses appear as if connected. I used rows of Storefronts to hide the cliff-face underneath my sprawling castle, as it creates quite the illusion that there is a floor beneath the main floor of my castle. If I can not actually make my island bigger, then I want for it to at least look bigger, hence I have a few stairways "down to nowhere", which allows access to the caverns down below. A black file cabinet turned around backwards, to give the suggestion that it is a dark tunnel down there. I also have some Crew Member Chairs sitting behind a train engine, upon train track custom patterns that I drew myself, so that I could have a nice train on my island. The tracks come out of a tunnel beneath my castle, and disappear behind a house. As my island is already too crowded to run a nice tram ride around the entire island. So then my train is like a ride at an amusement park, in which all the "fun" stuff happens inside of that big air-conditioned building, and the outside train area is just the boarding area. Or beneath the cliffs, in the case of my island.

I was wondering the same thing but I think it has to be a 5 star rating to do that. Idk I just like watching island tours 😅

It should be possible to have 8 houses rather than just 1, because I have 8 human houses on my island, plus my 10 villagers. And I have none of the DLC nor Nintendo Online. But since my island sort of developed rather than being carefully planned, it does seem a bit crowded and cluttered. Exit the game, create a new user account, enter the game using your new user. You restart the game experience, however the airplane takes you to *your already-existing island,* where you will become a new member of the community and where you will place your tent that soon will be your new additional house. If you do not want to miss out on the treasure balloon pops and you want to go "glamping", having a nice bed and refrigerator and whatever will fit into your tent, you can use your first or strongest character to gift tools or items either by mail or by leaving items on their patios. Repeat creating a new user on your Switch several times until you are adding the 8th house. I named my additional characters after the theme of their house, and I let them live in the rear room, leaving me 5 rooms to devote to my theme of the new house. In some of my houses, I leave the lights on all the time, because only that user can actually turn on or off the room lights. The + symbol disappeared after my 8th user, so then that must be the max number. 48 rooms to decorate. I hope you have lots of bells, because that is going to be costing quite a lot to develop all your houses to the maximum 6 rooms each. I raised lots of bells via big agriculture fields, that I later reduced as I need room for my humongous castle, and my amusement park took up a lot of space also. Conveniently, if one of your characters is the strong character that builds and buys items for the others, you can team-play-cooperate by leaving 99,000 bell bags for your character that is needing bells to expand the number of rooms, and leave furniture and furnishings on their patios. One of the houses on my island actually belongs to my nephew. And if that is not enough rooms for you to decorate, then have another 48 over on Harv's Island inside of Phototopia. While only 6 rooms are accessible at a time, they are actually 6 rooms per user, and so when you switch to your other users, you can revisit their 6 rooms. 6 times 8 is 48 rooms.

@@midnightzxne I think that the rating of your island does not matter for that. At some point you want the 5-star, because I have heard that you get a certain flower and the recipe for the golden water can for 5-star, but after that, I think it is okay that my island dropped to a 4-star. But there are a few things that I can not seem to do, because I do not yet have Happy Home Paradise, nor do I have Nintendo Online. But I have all 8 houses plus my 10 villagers. I simply created a new user, and upon entering the game, was pleasantly surprised that my existing island stayed the same, but I was a new person arriving on the island, and received my additional tent/house. I was a bit concerned that very few villagers even have any bathroom facilities in their huts, and so I soon built some bathhouses around my island, the easiest way to fix that. As my 8 houses are hardly enough for me, I do have a few buildings that are technically just big patios enclosed by a fence, one of those fences that could be a wall, and then I just furnished it as if it was a building, leaving a gap for the doorway. Once you receive the ability to make paths, you can make patios also.

I wonder if the toy room by the arcade is the room where you turn in tickets 🎟️ and get prizes
