Watched this fight live at the Thomas and mack convention centre in las Vegas,my dad paid for the trip from Manchester, we had a great holiday, my dad sadly passed away 6 years ago, miss you dad xxxx bobby
Hatton gets talked about like he's a bum. Deserves more respect than that. Could not match it against Pac or Mayweather, but niether did other top level fighters.
Hattons big mistake against both was that he was steady running behind. In Floyds case its not that easy to wait and counter but in Pacs match Hatton was def running into his KO. Also in the mayweather fight after he push floyd into the ropes for turning around he should ve started to wait a bit and counter. Hatton could ve been a Top5 all time great when adjusting his tactics and strategy
Castillo took a dive. That was by far the weakest body punch I have ever seen. And Castillo didn't seem hurt at all. Look at Oscar's and Luke Campbell losses to a body shot, those guys were in agony on the floor and Luke's you could actually see the Ryan's glove mark on Luke's body. Castillo just seemed like he didn't want to continue anymore.
I remember the Hatton interview after fight “you’ve seen more action in this fight than in the whole of mayweathers’ career” which was greeted with cheers and laughs. Floyd watching on from home said to Lenord Ellorby “make the f***n fight”
Love Hatton, what a warrior and a Legend, those Hatton body shots were unbelievably savage....😈 There's absolutely no shame in getting beaten by Mayweather and Mani either.....🇬🇧✌️
It was strange how much the ref Cortez seemed to really favor Hatton. Like the announcer said before the fight that Hatton's shorts were high so the belt line is good. Then he constantly warns (especially when Hatton told him to) and then takes away a point. Then Hattons next fight vs Floyd it was the complete opposite, Cortez was against Hatton and allowed Floyd to use damn near mma like elbows to the face and throat. I guess Cortez goes with the corner with the most 💲💲💲
@manorman man Have you ever boxed? I don't think so Geezer, Hatton hit him in the same place 6 or 7 times in that round alone and I can tell you that savage body punches are absolutely sickening and they hurt like F**k. Castillo just couldn't take them and those body shots have dropped a huge number of his opponents for his KO's. You clearly know nothing.
Duke McKenzie worst commentator ever. "Castillo slips Hattons right hand!" It was a left hook. "Great left hook from Hatton, no response from Castillo!" Castillo throws five punches back.
I think Castillo is not suited to fight on higher weight class. He is merely a ghost of a once superb fighter that gave trouble to Diego Corrales and Floyd Mayweather.
This was the fight that i started adding Hatton to one of my fav pro boxers. His overpowering style is very annoying making his opponent lose confidence.
Una pelea muy sucia,la esquina de castillo no sabía dirigir bién esa pelea.Si castillo tiene mejor boxeo a distancia tenía que hacer esa pelea y no irse una pelea cuerpo a cuerpo, donde Haton es mejor.
Hatton was done when pacquia beat him. Castillo fell.apart after they stole that fight he beat Mayweather in vegas boxing ain't boxing anymore its a show/business
Por eso es que hablan del boxeo miren a castillo, como que no quiere tirar ni pegarle duro ,a diferencia de otras peleas donde castillo si tiraba golpes.se nota la mafia del boxeo ahí uvo mafia.
You guys are some sore sorry losers. Everytime. If u even stepped in the ring yourself. You would kno dam well body punches would affect your fight game like that you clown. Yet you mske do much noise when you win other controversial desitions..
Castillo was a great fighter that DID in fact give Mayweather trouble (of course, under the circumstances, like Castillo was in his prime, Mayweather wasn't 100% ready and was moving up in weight, etc). But this body punch was one that he didn't see coming and landed cleanly, breaking 4 of Castillo's ribs. You probably couldn't WALK with ONE broken rib, much less fight with 4.
Castillo was pouting about getting that point taken. He wouldn't give Cortez his hand to introduce to the judges for the point deduction. Then in the beginning of that final exchange seemed to just bend over and sit still while hatton delivered the body shot. And never had any interest or intention on trying to beat the count. Not to take away from hattons victory here but I've seen Castillo in some absolute wars and never seen him take a dive and quit like that...... pathetic
@@martincurran6432 you sound very knowledgeable about taking a dive. If I was a betting man and that I am. I would say it's because you have probably been the guy receiving the liver shots than the guy (like myself) delivering them your whole life. If your gonna respond to a comment better yet known as my own personal observation, with telling everyone on here something that they already know. Then why bother and waste the time????? Yes a liver or any legal body shot for that matter can drop a fighter that' has great conditioning....damn the cats out the bag now. Thanks Martin.
You don't make sense. You didn't seem to realise that liver shots can put you out of the fight since you seemed to think Castillo not trying to beat the count meant it was a dive
@@martincurran6432 the only thing that doesn't make any sense here is YOU STILL COMMENTING. I deem this conversation over. I will no longer corispond with you jackass.
Yeah! I agree with you..Hatton always comes forward open..he is always vulnerable for a right/lefthook..and Castillo has that tool..A prime Castillo would have knock him out..
Pura basura peleas vendidas castillo ni metio las manos nomas aparentando que esta peleando pero no esta golpeando sin duda esto no es pelea este es show mejor dicho circo barato
