Austin and Kayla are at Weiler Abrasives for day two of filming and meeting with the team at Weiler Abrasives group. They take a manufacturing tour to learn “how it’s made” weiler wheels. After lunch they are off to Kentucky Welding Institute. Many ask for Kentucky Welding Institute reviews and welding school suggestions so they wanted to see it in person before recommending. Austin’s proud to be among the youtube welders and takes any influence he has seriously. Nothing is better than seeing something in person before recommending so off to KWI they go in the next video. Stay tuned! This pipeline family is loving getting to do a leisurely road trip. Expect for they forgot to make to slow enough because they are so used to pipeline life. Oops. Can you relate?

Longest trip was from Clovis NM, to Washington DC. Nonstop. Yall get funny when you get tired.

Did a iron but challenge on my victory. 1500 miles in 24 hours or from Colorado springs to South Carolina.

That plant is Marathon Refining. They refine crude oil that comes in by pipelines that are welded together by people like Austin. That plant is about 20 minutes from my house.

From Muncie Indiana to frt Meyers Florida 20 hrs picked up my daughter and drove straight back so like around 44 hrs straight basically

The plant you went by that was lite up in the dark is Marathon Oil refinery. I live 20 miles farther toward more head. glad yall came through

Railroad guy here. Longest road trip for me was 18 hrs. Drove from Safford, AZ back to Winfield, KS. Got just North of Ponca & had to pull into a rest stop. Couldn't grip the wheel anymore. Got out & walked around swinging my arms trying to get circulation back in them. 20 min. later, back on the road. I'll NEVER do that again.

California to Delaware. Used to do long distance no sleep trips a lot. Not so easy anymore.

Yakima Washington to Ellis, Kansas. Ran into thick fog in Western Wyoming, barely see past the hood. Started running out of it around Cheyenne about midnight, wasn't going to stop and let the fog catch me. Left Ellis & headed to Wichita a couple of hours later.

That plant is the Marathon Catlettsburg, Ky refinery. The longest road trip for me was Branson Mo. To Leon, WV to Shadyside Ohio in 20 hours.

Longest non-stop road trip was from Ft. Campbell KY to Billings MT. in a Jeep Wrangler.

Tip: drink you coffee thru a straw, while driving. The coffee stays hot longer. The cup is always straight. Coffee will never spill on your shirt. AND... SAFETY... the cup never tilts up high enough to temporarily block your vision.
