The Sprite players are great. Trying to get a couple set up for my haunt now. I think you'll enjoy working with it. Glad you enjoyed the video. I appreciate you watching!
This is such an awesome project and such a great effect. I’m just sad I don’t know anyone getting rid of a tv… guess I’ll just steal one 😂 Great video man 🎃💀👻
Haha. Before you go steal a tv you might want to check out a thrift store. They probably have less security and would be easier to steal from. Kidding aside, in my area we have thrift stores that sell old televisions pretty cheap, always an option if you want to make a project like this. Thanks again for watching and commenting, I really appreciate it. Oh, you have a new video for me to watch. I should be getting work done but I think maybe it's time for a break.
That could be a good option. This tv was older so it was pretty heavy, which is why I wanted to use screws. I will consider that for future projects though. I wasn't sure about drilling through the tv, but luckily it worked for this project. Thanks for the suggestion and thank you for watching!
As a former window tinter, you can just use soapy water and a spray bottle, but you have to make sure the glass is completely clean and dust free or else it will show through the window tint
Wow epic haunted mirror I absolutely love it and love the make of it easy to do and definitely has a great haunted scare overall just love how it looks that ghosts on it were absolutely epic
Thanks! It's a pretty simple and fun project; I'm happy you enjoyed the video. Glad you like the name, I thought it fit my silly humor and not so gory Halloween taste. I appreciate you watching!
Thank you! It's a fun, simple project to make. I never actually used it in my haunt last year, I have to figure out a way to incorporate it this year. Thanks for watching!
I was thinking about using an LCD monitor without a bezel. It would be a lot thinner and easier to attach to the picture frame. Maybe you could do something with sensors connected to a Raspberry Pi. Either way, this video gave me some awesome ideas. You could even change the material you play to do holidays like Christmas as well.
The LCD monitor would be a great option. The tv I used definitely wouldn't be my first choice, but I can't complain because it was free. I am sure someone experienced with using a Raspberry Pi could create a similar effect, I have not played around with one yet. I love the idea of switching the video for different holidays, I hadn't really thought of that. Thanks for your great ideas and thanks for watching!
Nice Halloween DIY. Content like yours are really a Inspiration😃. Here in Germany sadly we do not have so much choices of Halloween Decoration and Animatronic. And your Tutorial helps a lot. Regards from Germany the other part of the World😁. Happy Road to Halloween 🎃
Thanks for the kind words. I love that you have a haunted gym. Last year we actually helped to decorate our friend's gym for a Halloween power lifting competition he did. Unfortunately, he wasn't able to do it this year, but hopefully next year it will happen again. I will be doing more tutorials going forward, I have been learning to build my own animatronics and will be sharing that content in the future. Great work decorating, looking forward to seeing more.
I almost tried doing that, but I wasn't sure if when spraying to attach the film the liquid would get in the tv and ruin it. I used a lot of spray on it, so that could be an issue. If you do try it please let me know if it works.
Wow, how did I not mention this? The Sprite player comes with a plug you can attach into the I/O port. I just used male to female Dupont wires to connect the PIR sensor to the plug. The wiring for it is shown in the user manual found on page 28 (numbered 27) here. www.medeawiz.com/assets/Sprite-4K-DV-S4-User-Manual-3_01.pdf Sorry I left that out. Hope this helps and thanks for watching!
