Haunted Places in Gloucester City | Ghostly Trails 

Wonderful video! Watching from Shaftesbury in Dorset. King Alfred the Great was here back in 880 AD, and he built a nunnery which was the most wealthy in England at that time. The Abbey ruins are still here among other things. The old Mitre pub and town hall and surroundings must have some hauntings to discover. It can be spooky walking around at night, or strolling up or down the famous 'Gold Hill' ( used as the setting for the famous 70's Hovis advert made by film director Sir Ridley Scott.) That advert started off his career and made him famous. So we may have ghosts, but no aliens or gladiators unfortunately.

Very spooky tales! Watched form Colorado, USA, where night has just fallen! Creepy tales of the old Roman stronghold that is now Cirencester would be appreciated! Anything from a bit down south in Wiltshire would be nice. Thank you!

I was born in Gloucester where I still live and have heard of some of these ghost stories when I was growing up -especially the hunchback ghost at the Dick Whittington wheee I would go with friends! It’s interesting to hear them from another’s perspective.
