I loved TTS, don’t get me wrong. But Hunter: The Parenting? I cherish it. The characters are well written, with an incredible ability to hopscotch between the comedy and the rich storytelling. The music taps into an even richer level of atmosphere. I want… So much more from this.

Magnus cant show how he properly walk due to his legs. But we can asume is a most normal walk. Kitten walks normal but with an Umbrella, he is still protecting. And he is the only one actually not wanting to be wet. Boy is a little walk, but seeing his long sleeves, not waring pants and the classic yellow cloak. It looks childish. Like that kid at the begining of "IT"

Can't wait for the side scrolling RPG where all of the extended family has different skillsets, and you need to collect the entire roster to solve every puzzle in the game, but as you progress the story, dependent on who you have at the time, rivalries and feuds can flare. Looking back on the whole Hunter series here, the team has learned so much in terms of animation and art. If GW ever decides to loosen up a bit and pull all the ceramite poles out of their arses, TTS could be something completely new and fantastic. H:TP is so much better than TTS ever was, and I say that as a fan of the TTS series. They have so much more freedom with doing a series in the White Wolf setting since they can actually have meaningful stakes when characters can meaningfully die.

To think we have come this far in the series after some weeks. Finally we can just say that we're entering the next arc. Love the 180 of a mew show option you guys did and creativity in the lines, scenarios and pretty much everything. I'm sure the emperor and everyone else is looking down at this with a big smile on there face. Keep it up. Outstanding work on this music, it's perfect. All walk styles fit them so much too. Big D is extraverted and self-confident. The children hat shows how loony he is. Door is down to earth and methodical, walks like military and doesn't care about the rain. Always on watch and armed. Marcus is obviously injured but reluctantly follows his his family. He might complain but he knows he needs them as they need him. Kitten is at first sight the most normal with quite a standard strut but he always has a back up plan, like his raincoat under his umbrella. Boy has a jovial walk, he enjoys spending time with the family. His clothes are too big for him, as are his responsabilities and the world he must face. He is expected to grow. I do not know why they are in such order. It's not a matter of closeness because Boy would be beside Door then, nor security because he should not close the march. I guess it shows how much they know/are in deep with the world of darkness they fight against. I know i may overanalyze but you can't deny how much thought went into everything so far. Huge love for this series.

I believe the order is by age, which then correlates to experience. Big D is potentially hundreds of years old, Door is old enough to have white hair, Marckus is explicitly over 30 years old, Kitten is likely around the same age as Marckus, and Boy is beleven.

Honestly, the upgrade from ‘stilted animation’ to ScoobyDoo animation is astonishing. Even if this is just a loop, it shows exactly how talented everyone on the team is. Also, I’ve been craving this music score. So thank you! P.S. Symbol pops up at 11:39, is spoopy red symbol, what do?! WHAT DO?!! Edit: Thus far, the closest I’ve been to figuring out the symbol of interest is ‘Correspondence’ which holds a similar shape but lacks the circles and singular line.. Am investigating further. Edit 2: Resembles hunter code, but it’s…different. Very different. I’ll continue looking but at this point I’m grasping very vaguely.

Had no luck to find it within the Hunter Code, but other factions use symbols. That includes mages. Look up the Death symbol for Magic: the Ascension and the Correspondance one for Magic: the Awakening. Looks familiar, doesn’t it? That would be the end of my research...if White Wolf didn’t base their codes on symbols used in real life. No luck with veve, the religious symbols used in vodou. That leaves us with alchemical symbols, the base for Mages. A triangle with a bar in the upper part represents air. That leaves us with the two circles with a dot in the center. The problem is that this specific symbol has multiple meanings. The first one is gold, which has a bunch of other symbols associated (because alchemists and gold). The second meaning was invented by John Dalton. Hydrogen. There’s two circles with a dot, along with the rectangle for air. It’s H2O. Water. Well played, Bruva. Well played. Edit: note that the triangle for air is usually closed at the bottom, so I could be wrong and this could be an important message that predicts the apocalypse. Unless it’s just water.

I hadn’t considered using the Alchemical codes, I’d been looking through bigger ticket targets since it would likely correlate to a larger event in that context. It’s likely something small, that could tie to the music associated with that scene/section of so perhaps the score has a hint when combined with Alchemical notes?

@@davidthorp01 Indeed, the multiple meanings are an issue. It becomes greater when you consider that there’s a simpler symbol for water in alchemy. And that the circle with a dot can also represent the sun. Still thinking alchemy might be the key. Following the dialogue between Boy and Horse, it’s plausible that mage symbols are used for prophetic purposes. Or just to communicate messages. I love the idea of looking for patterns in the audio, so if anyone wants to try their luck, I’d be happy to see the results. Edit: One last thought. I find it increasingly unlikely that it’s hunter code, or hunter-code related. Look at the way the symbol arrives. The tree starts blank, then the symbol manifests. An hunter cannot do that. It’s surnatural, and glowing red. A Mage could do this, or a Fallen, a Tremere, or something else entirely.

I have been writing for years. I am not published (yet), and the idea of me having any credibility is laughable. Will I put my amateur judgment here anyways? You're goddamn right I will because what Bruva Alfabusa's team has done is an inspiration to any aspirant writer like me. I cannot imagine not just working, but succeeding on a project like TTS only to have it robbed. GW are fools beyond belief guided by narrow minded corporate guidelines that objectively hinder the creative capability of the 40K franchise. Bruva Alfabusa's team are nothing short of spectacular for their creative resilience and vision. They have crafted a series brimming in character, charm, atmosphere, and worldly adventure that could go anywhere (which I so hope it does) and give the audience a story akin to fine wine: *Only gets better with time.* I am in awe of the adaptability and courage it took to leap from TTS to Hunter, and in my humble opinion, I think the people behind the show are living just as much of an adventure as the stories they tell.

These walk cycles tell a lot about the characters. Kitten has a firm fist as he walks and has a very self assured way of walking. Boy kind of emulates him but seems less self assured due to having a coat that will grow on him. Marcus had his bloody legs shot and mangled, but it's only a flesh wound and he straight up drags himself with pure upper body strength. Door bounces with every step showing strength and vitality and then there's Big fucking D with his... Swagger? My man is straight up Zoolandering his way through the forest. I can just hear him going "With my excellent posture and swagger I shall leave my enemies DAZED and so leave the boys time to attack!"

Nothing quite like the combination of instrumental music and rain sounds to make you feel relaxed. Do I actually hear the sounds of walking in this as well? It certainly adds to the experience if I do. The music and rain combo is already equal parts mystical, haunting, and relaxing, but if I'm right about the sounds of footsteps, then it really lets me close my eyes and just imagine I'm with them. I like it.

I feel like my favourite character in this shot is Door. Just his imperial march and his nonchalantly walking through the rain without an umbrella. It just makes him seem...Seem awesome. A great counterpart to his 40k version.

A small, but interesting item to note, is that in this scene Markus is left without the use of his legs - similarly to Magnus the Red following his fight with Leman Russ in WH40K canon, had he not been primarily Warp-stuff at that point, what with his back being broken. A minor detail but eye-catching nonetheless in an awesome adaptation series full of Warhammer references.
