Absolutely superb! May we see more often the reunion of people to celebrate cultures. Be the arab, the japanese, the christian, the northern, southern and anywhere else. Because God made us equal and He expects from us the learning of His most glorious gift; coexistence! Shalom. Good vibes from Greece.
Another excellent performance from Efim Aleksandrov's repretoire. It would be lovely if Efim Aleksandrov could bring his show and cast ensemble to perform in North America.
I'm an arab & regardless of ideologies & religion & all that crap.. this is one hell of a song & dance... I love how music can bring the whole world together... this song just makes my heart jump in happiness :) thanks for sharing

I, My Brother, am a Christian and this always Moves My Heart in a way I can"t describe. I truly believe that most religions come from a common root religion and I love all my Brothers and Sisters. It is Not my place to judge anyone as I lack perfection myself.
It's very energetic nice composition and great performance, happy hollidays to the jewish nation may God bless you all. I'm not Jewish but love this song!

Очень исполнено красиво! Здесь "Хава Нагила" звучит божественно, серьезно, классически! И танцуют, как бы обращаясь к богу, прося радости, мира, защиты и любви! Класс! Спасибоза видео!
Fanbloomintastic Sensational, love it love it. Hands up anyone who agrees with me, all conflicts whatever they may be, political, religious, etc, should all be resolved on a dance floor. Wishful thinking I know, but wouldn't it be the best way.
Hava nagila/ Let's rejoice Hava nagila /Let's rejoice Hava nagila ve nis'mecha /Let's rejoice and be happy Hava neranenah /Let's sing Hava neranenah /Let's sing Hava neranenah ve nis'mecha /Let's sing and be happy Uru, uru achim! /Awake, awake, brothers! Uru achim b'lev sameach /Awake brothers with a happy heart, Uru achim, uru achim!/ Awake, brothers, awake, brothers! B'lev sameach/ With a happy heart
According to the Sue Fishkoff book " The Rebbe's Army" p.167, Bob Dylan is one of the biggest names associated with Chabad. In the early 1980s, Chabad " rescued" Dylan from a brief flirtation with Christianity, and for several years, Bylan studied with Minneapolis Rabbis Manis Friedman and Moshe Feller, whom he visited also for Shabbat dinners. Dylan made surprise appereance at the 1988 and 1989 Chabad telethons, once playing " Hava Negila" out of tune on the harmonica.
Channel emblem is «НТВ Мир» which means «Independent TV company: Worldwide». In russian languages words «peace» and «world» pronounced and writed in the same way. Мир.
@awesomeSAMY congrats..finally you saw the light of humanity.,which the rest of the world did see many years ago..except your arab brothers. Bless you for opening your mind.
@AckapIQ ....так евреи и жили 300 лет в России-норамльный танец времён Бабеля!Очень красивый ,хоть и чуть эклектичный сплав:))) Косыночки ,конечно ,надо было назад подвязать! так аидки не носили:))
It's hard to have a problem with words like these: Let's rejoice Let's rejoice Let's rejoice and be happy Let's sing Let's sing Let's sing and be happy Awake, awake, brothers Awake brothers with a happy heart Awake, brothers, awake, brothers With a happy heart
I thought that was freaking excellent, I don't understand why the audience was sitting there all stupidly "politely" applauding. Wtf is wrong with them? That was great :)
Talented dancers, but the choreographer is NOT informed about religious Jewish people. The men are not allowed to dance with women, they are not allowed to touch a Jewish woman (besides their wife) and the women dancing touching the men and kicking up their skirts would never happen in this community. The thought is appreciated though, bringing out the cultural music.
The dancing and orchestra are awesome but I wanted to see more of the dance moves. The frame was bouncing around to much and was to close most of the time. I want to see more of their footwork. Is there another video of this production? And are the dancers a professional dance troupe and are there more videos of them? does anybody know?
It's worth noting that Israel is apparently home to some of the most successful psytrance DJs on the planet. The similarity between this music and contemporary psy is vague, but noticeable in terms of the speed. :D
Always thought Arabs and Jewish are perfect in whatever they do! Very clever nations. So different but perfect in every way! Unbelievable. Song makes me cry.
It is a song of Ukrainian Jews. It is traced back to a Ukrainian town, which prior to the time of the Bolshevik Revolution -when this melody became popular - was largely, though not entirely, a Jewish mestechko.
