This channel is the perfect one that I've been looking for. Teaching the VERY BASIC, not like the other ones that are already for professional dancers. Love it.
For those who commented about the wrong beat, you are correct because they titled it "chachacha international." However, they are doing the Filipino cha-cha beat, not International. For those who do competition ballroom, this is wrong timing. Be it known that this is not competition cha-cha-cha, but just for social dancing. I hope it helps and it's more bearable to you all. (FYI - I don't know these dancers. They've also cut off the best couple.)

///////////// PERO QUE MUJERES TAN BONITAS y ENCANTADAS CON LOS RITMOS LATINOS ,,,, NOSOTROS LOS LATINOS AMERICANOS SOMOS ASÍ LLENOS DE MÚSICA Y RITMO YA LO TRAEMOS EN LA SANGRE ,,,,, SALUDOS DESDE GUADALAJARA MÉXICO.
Not a ballroom dancer so can't speak to whether wrong timing for international ballroom or otherwise, but I do appreciate they are doing something together and they look like they are having fun. Enjoyed watching. Thanks for posting and keep doing your thing.
Awesome dancing. I started dancing on my 63rd revolution of the sun. I wish I started earlier so I could hardwire the styling and technique beautifully shown on this video. I just love cha cha. When I was learning it, I was taught the two single steps begin on the second beat. There is a rhythm in bachata that has 10 steps same as cha cha but starts at beat 1. However, this level of timing detail is for the serious students, dance judges and professionals. I dance for fun and health. I love your upload. Thanks
Thats why many professional dancers commented because of the video title. As I also taught of the counting, while taking online lessons I could almost see some improvements to be made but incredible core strength for the female wearing a blue dress.
They danced well. To those who said.off beat.. well you're just bitter. 6k + who thumbs up vs 5h thumbs down.. still impressive performance. the pair in the center are very gracefull. congrats!
The teacher tought them on the wrong beat. Even the techer was counting like 1234 not cha cha 123 or cha cha cha 23. And they aint advanced those are the basic steps on WRONG BEAT. So i feel u my friend
Wow... excellent dancers! Loved it! Wish I could dance like that!! Whoever made the video, I wish you would've gotten the lady in red on the right in the whole thing instead of just here and there.
As they’ve said, beginner sila and also that’s not a competition. So what if wala sa timing (as of now) ? They can improve more. -posture -pendulums -beat

@@jencudal7117 hello jen. You can actually start on count 1 if it's a side step ( like the last cha in cha cha cha). You will still end up with the rock step on 2-3. The dancers in the video started on 1 with cha cha cha. So, they were dancing 1and 2--3-4 instead of 2-3-4and 1. So their rock step is on 3-4, instead of 2-3 which is the standard international or American cha cha cha. It's easier to start on 2 because Havana song claps on 2-4. Try the video dancers' rhythm on a bachata song or any song with an even beat. Creativity, jen. Saludos.
Sad to hear all these negative reviews. Can anyone of these critics can show us the correct timing and a better way to do this dance so at least we can learn from well seasoned dancers what's timing they are talking about. I'm confused about the timing I want to learn.
It is in 2-4 time signature, 1,2 1&2 should be the counting, in a measure of 2-4 there should be 2 beats.... For a basic there are 2 measures for a total of 4 beats
@@kreyneleerizada4870 hello Kreyne. So the time signature is 2-4. To get the timing and steps together (same language) I suggest the counting to be 2-4( for the 2 single steps) and 6-7-8 for the triple step (cha cha cha) to complete a phrase. You agree? The missing 1,3,5 are not steps in basic cha cha cha ( but can be marked in other ways with other body parts). Saludos.
@@francissantos7448 it can also be in 4-4time signature which has also 4 beats, the counting is 4&1,2,3 for the step pattern of step close step, rock step
@@kreyneleerizada4870 you are absolutely correct Kreyne. I have distilled my understanding of dance genres to combinations (I call them rhythms) of single steps and triple steps. I have advanced by adding kicks, taps, rondes and holding beats to replace my "steps". My wife is a reluctant dancer but because of covid 19 I have taught her the way I have distilled dancing. She can dance triple 2 step, country 2 step, foxtrot, quickstep etc without her knowing what they are. She just follow the music and my lead with a predetermined rhythm. Lots of fun. Saludos.
If we consider the fact that they‘re just beginners the dancing is actually really good. And the thing with the wrong beat...In the beginning you can hear how the teacher counts them in so it‘s not the dancers fault at all. I‘ve been dancing for 11 years now and Latin also for a few years now so I think I can say I know what I‘m talking about. If you‘re a beginner and the teacher counts you in on the wrong time you‘re lost that‘s just how it is. Besides that I actually enjoyed the video and hope you don‘t lose the love for dancing :)
Nieves Blanco Show sorry for the off beat. This dance was taught to us by our dance instructor and we are only following instructions.. we will do the proper next time..
