well he is Beetlejuice after all. And he didn't had chance to kill anyone. Plus he's the funny type, not a murder type. Also in reality, this is just a movie.

Every time I see this, I laugh so fucking hard when Beetlejuice fooled the fly with a Zagnut bar then throws it away to devour him as his damn meal! LOL! LMAO! ROFL! XD!🤣
First time I saw this scene I actually felt bad for the housefly, because around the same time I thought about a fictional supervillain or antihero called: 'Flyman' (who could easily be defeated by Spider-Man as some sort of fanfic stories), so I kept asking: 'Is that fly coming back?'
@@MrPavePaws I mean the part about Geena Davis, who played Ronnie in Cronenburg's Fly. I think it's just a fun coincidence that she happened to appear in a movie that referenced the original Fly movie when she herself appeared in the remake just a little earlier.
Beetlejuice is without a doubt my #1 most favorite movie of all time. And today, as of 5 minutes ago, was 1 of only 2 instances where I randomly passed a box of Zagnut bars up at a store.... .........Yes, I did purchase one.
I thought that Zagnut was a fictional candy bar created for this movie until someone mentioned it to me and I looked it up and its real so now I want a Zagnut.

This must have did wonders for Leaf International that owned the Zagnut brand at the time. Watching this as a child growing up in New York City in the early 1990’s, I had never seen a Zagnut bar and had assumed it was a fictitious product.
Two things. One: Apparently Zagnut DID exist, kudos (no pun intended) to product placement. Two: I'd like to think Burton foreshadowed Vincent Price to appear in his next flick. Which would be Edward Scissorhands two years later.

I went to 5 below tonight to buy some Halloween candy for my boys, one of the employees was dressed as beetlejuice. I happened to be buying some zag it bars because they are incredible. I handed him one and told him it would complete his outfit, he didn’t get it. I had to explain the whole scene to him.
I just had one of these candy bars. Really good, like a butterfinger but better. They are pretty popular now. This movie made me want to try one so I did. I thought it was a fictional candy bar made for the movie but nope it's real.
