Oh the second time I was at Graceland I went across the street to shop at the Graceland mall and bought Elvis cookbook and Elvis’s Uncle Vester served me behind the til so I asked for his Autograph ✍️ and signed the cookbook. A very nice 👍 man. Love ❤️ you all.from Ontario Canada 🇨🇦

I was at Graceland last summer. What an incredible experience! To be where Elvis loved, was so surreal. And to pay my respects to Elvis, his parents, Lisa, and Ben, was very moving. I am thankful that I got to go. I hope Billy and Jo, get better soon. God bless y’all!

I loved visiting Graceland. It is beautiful and very peaceful. I became unexpectedly emotional at the graveside. There is a "feeling", a presence inside the home. It is very hard to explain; I felt like I was somewhat invading his privacy and there was a feeling of sadness that he left this peaceful home so soon!

Hi Danielle - So sorry to hear about your accident , but like you said Thank God you weren't hurt ! Cars can be fixed or replaced - people can't be! I was ran off the road in October into a ditch, thankfully i wasn't hurt, but can relate to stress of dealing with the inusrance and all that fun stuff ! I felt something at Graceland. Even part of a tour and sort of having to rush through. I went in 2009. And I could feel a vibe there, it felt very special. My ex-husband and I were on our honeymoon. We drove from Vancouver, BC, Canada, all across the northern states; then to Chicago and followed old Route 66 to LA. But I told him we had to detour to Memphis to see Graceland. I am so glad we did. We stopped at so many tourist traps all across the USA. But Graceland is the real deal. Elvis is there.

I was at Graceland twice in 1983 in early spring with my husband and a couple of friends who owned a motor home and in the fall with my sister and her boyfriend, it was a great experience,but they didn’t have all the things they have now. I’m glad I was able to get to Graceland,but now I’m eighty don’t know if I’ll be able get back. I’ve been a Elvis fan since 13 or 14. When Elvis passed away I was in the basement doing laundry 🧺 my niece came running 🏃♀️ down to tell me the news 🗞️ I just could hardly believe it. I went to Graceland almost two years ago and you can feel Elvis all around. The Green Room gave me a erie feeling. I think he is there because he recorded in that room. You really need to go there. Is it possible for you to contact Graceland management and ask if you can video?Your grandpa and your dad can come with you and describe where they hung out and where your daddy played etc. Graceland may allow if they can approve the video/RU-vid.Priscilla doesn’t have final say anymore so possible it will be ok.

Did the ultimate tour and got to hold a pair of Elvis's stage boots from 1972. You are lucky to have such a famous person in your family tree.

You know my mama's daddy is from Mississippi and there were like 9 or 10 kids in his family. My great grandfather's name was Camie Wilson. I don't remember what my Granny Maude Wilson's maiden name was, but I thought who knows...we might be kin in some way with all the family we have that lived and still live in Mississippi? I had some great great grandparent's that were from Ireland and they lived in Louisiana and I also have a great great grandfather that was a Wilson and he married an Indian woman, but I don't remember her name though. They are both buried near a church in Mississippi on the highest hill in the cemetery. That's what my great great grandmother wanted I guess it's because she was an Indian. I love hearing about generations and where people come from. Good lucky on your search Danielle. That will be fun. 😉🙂❤❤❤
