I just figured out how to Export just one patch instead of the whole lot. Right click on the patch in the librarian page and use the export option from that popup menu.
Thank you for that!! And to import can you do the same? This is a feature I hadn't figured out yet. Threw not much of it in manuals or even online so trying to figure this all out really, thank you!
I'm due for a conclusion video this week, I'm very happy with my unit. Check out the series I set up all the patches over 3 videos, then after some time with it live I shared these, I've learnt to use the pedal live and tweak when needed so I'll go through comments and sum it all up this week.
If I use the PaintAudio Midi Captain, and midi that out to the GT-1000 midi in, then Gt midi out to VE-500, and set to 'thru' and whatever settings are needed... I could essentially use 4 of the switches to control VE-500 stuff, and the other 4 to control GT-1000 stuff right?

Hey Jared - I am hoping you may be able to help me. I have benefited from watching your videos on the Boss VE-500 and have the vocal elements dialed in. Problem is, they are affecting my guitar as well. I am plugging my guitar into the 1/4 input and patching out the through jack - any advice? I can just bypass the unit and plug directly into the next pedal on my board but seems like there should be an "easy" solution. Thanks!

I love your videoa about he Boss VE-500. Can you share your patches? And my problem is also that I can't find the midi implementation for the VE-500 on Boss website. Do you know how to bypass the unit via midi?
I tried downloading the driver for this and I got some Kodi thing called VE500ROM and when you tried installing it it dose not say if its been installed or what no installed succesfully comfirmation. So now I can't install this software on my windows 11 PC.

no worries man!! Ye - it is... i lost the project, so i'm working on a newer shorter intro. It always bothered me the level of the intro, and i've a few complaints about it being too long... i just liked it man!! haha - but yeah, thanks for shouting out!
p.s. I still wanna do my final Video or 2 on it - I've learnt a few things using it live... and would like to do a conclusion on what i learnt and what i've tweaked to be happy.

Bought a VE500 used, could not believe how wretched the presets are! Have a TC Helicon Voicelive 2, and recall demoing this, the preset "Pro Kids" made me go YES!! The VE500 has no such outstanding preset. I initially thought "wow, this is really sh*t, I need to sell it on". Spent an hour with the software and came up with quite a few 2-3 part harmonies. It seems pretty decent, will persevere, see how it works out in a live situation.

Hi Jared, How do you get the Reverb and Harmony to switch ON and OFF from the Harmony switch on the stomp box? When I press the Harmony Switch, only the Harmony turns off, and I have to control the Reverb from the 3rd knob.
Hi set 1 of them using the control menu, harmony button the desire fx on and off and for the 2nd set it under assigns. Source being harmony button, toggle, fx u want on and off. 👍
Well done Jared. Purchased one due to your reviews. Quick question if you have a second. Can the Pitch Correction be assigned to a pedal or are they only for FX1 and FX2?
Can be used in the assign matrix or as a pedal, but it's hidden as a name I didn't realize was pitch correction. I'll get that name a bit later when I'm back with my gear.
@@JaredGunstonTV actually think I found how to do it in the effect edit section under CTL settings. Now I wonder if the VOCODER can be assigned the same way. I don't see that as an option.
