I think in the now, City is top. internationally, alot of united fans did not experience the treble win. I was very young much like alot of current EPL fans. This generation witnessed City win it and in stunning fashion, not forgetting all the records we broke over the years. aslo the pain we have had in Europe and we were told we would never win Ol big ears. it is just delicious. KDB gave me PTSD . it was an emotionally and mentally draining season and i drank so much when we completed the treble that my pancreas took issue with me and had me bed ridden for a solid week. I have no regrets. this is legacy

It's not even close, for the last 3+ years everyone has known City is the best team in Europe, no one is surprised they finally won it which is precisely why it was hilarious to say City still don't have a CL trophy. If they never seemed like contenders it wouldn't make sense as a put down, but every time City went out it was an upset. No one thought United would challenge for that CL trophy, everyone knew Bayern were a better team... and outside some extra time chaos the best team would have won it. For 90 mins United were completely out played, and if you look at the tactical dimension of those SAF teams it is not hard to understand why Europe said the country was far behind the best coaches on the continent... City has made people respect the league, the best in the world fear the best the Premier League have to offer. No one feared that United team.

Great analysis. My biased opinion is City's treble was better. Beating United at Wembley again really clinches it for me and the way how we did it. We broke a record for the fastest goal in the competition. Both are amazing feats though and both teams are great but City's treble, while not as exciting was better because we truly dominated and didn't have to do the roller coaster stuff that United did.

As a blue I well remember the Utd performance against Juventus away from home. One of the greatest comebacks ever against a very good side. I really don't think you can split them. The treble is the treble. Full stop. Equally great achievements in my book. Both sides had tough champions League opponents and a tough adversary in the PL. I think you have to give it to City. In the last 6 years they have won the Premier League 5 times. In Pep's second season at City they won the league cup and premier league with 100 points and over 100 goals, and they won 32 games and only lost 2 all season. The next season they done what no team had done before or have done since and win every domestic trophy. That is such a difficult thing to achieve when you think of all the great teams that have graced the premier league or the old division 1 and yet they couldn't do what City done. Last season City done the CL treble, which is another great achievement and the way they dominated europe's big teams like Bayern Munich and the holders Real Madrid. Since Pep's tenure at City they have 5 Premier League Titles out of the last 6 and 3 in a row. 4 League Cups. 2 FA Cups. 1 Champions League. 1 European Supercup. 💯 points in a season. 2 trebles, domestic and Cl treble. The way City have played while winning these trophies and breaking all kinds of records has been sublime. It's been a pleasure watching them the way they've gone about breaking records and winning all these trophies.

Man City's Treble is better because of the huge dominance in the football game that we produced. We didn't have to be on our heels on almost every game asking the question if we will win or not. We enjoyed our team playing, and we followed in very closely witnessing them score all those goals in the big games at Etihad which made the huge difference. FORZA CITYYYY 🩵💙🩵💙
