As an SF native, Tonga is one of my favorites to go to. Honest critique though, I wish the band would play some tiki music rather than “the greatest hits” at full volume all the time. Still, good drinks, good food, amazing atmosphere, expect to shout at your friends a lot if you want to be heard
Aesthetically it's great, but when I've been there the drinks were just ok and the music was not at all tiki, which kind of kills the vibe. It's like they're not even trying despite the great potential of the venue itself
Looks fantastic, the only letdown it seems is the crap modern music. Why go out to a place that eaks mid-century, only to have it ruined by music from a different era.
