Dave is one lucky man to have the opportunity he has had to have Chris provide not only the latest clubs and balls to play with but more importantly Chris's personal training! What a great opportunity for him!
Got custom fitted yesterday. Tried G430, Aerojet, Stealth2, Paradym and TSR2. Ended up ordering a Paradym with a 55 gram shaft. I have a clubspeed of around 90 and ballspeed around 130. The Paradym was perfect for me. Even bad hits found the fairway.
As always, I've enjoyed the Dave Series, and could sympathize with his earlier struggles, however recently he fearlessly threads his drives down narrow fairways with ease, blissfully unconcerned with the dangers that surround him. And that short game. Get him a "Super Dave" t-shirt. Also, maybe work with Dave to neutralize the draw/hook tendencies. Might be an interesting lesson.
Thanks for doing this review. I was considering the standard paradigm or the paradigm X as I’ve heard the paradigm X is more forgiving but for Dave it seemed to go more left. So I am now leaning back towards the regular paradigm with the adjustable weight at the back. Thanks.
Nice video Chris ! I really like the videos with Dave. What i like to see is Dave hitting 3w, 5w and 7w of the deck and comp. the numbers. I´m 66y and i hit my 7w as long as my 5w, and i never use a 3w. my current Driver swingspeed is 82-85 mph 😘
Excellent on course testing… I think you have a winner, 3 out of 3 fairways, in the middle and the longest , all slight miss hits .. excellent combination Dave and the paradigm ✅🍻
After playing my first simulator round last night using my TD, I have to say that club is impressively forgiving on not the best of strikes. I would even say more so then the stealth+ from last year. Was hitting most shots low off of the face because the tee they had in the matt last night was a bit low, but even still most drives went straight and pretty long.
I am really interested in the ball testing that is coming out. I played the Chrome Soft for a couple of years but 2 years ago being a basically cheap skate human tried the Kirkland ball and other than the cover durability have liked every aspect of the performance of that ball.
