No, it's quite normal. At least for middle class. My fam has 5 - living room, basement, kitchen, master bedroom, and my bedroom. TV's really aren't that expensive these days. You can find decent smaller ones for like $80-120... I think the "many tv's = luxury" idea is outdated. Not that you said that, I'm just thinking out loud
