I couldn't play the Game for a number of reasons, the main one being that there are no subways within 100 miles of where I live. Were I to play it, I'd prepare a bit more than the MC. Multiple watches, mirrors to use to look around corners, and I'd want to have some sort of concealed weapon like a sap or batten but I have my cane so that would work, too. My wish would be for all my medical issues to be cured/in remission, but I've read and seen too many stories that warn to be careful what you wish for.

It might work at an abandoned bus station but that would be even riskier cause the bus station would hafta be a central hub that is indoors and you'd hafta go outside to board the bus, and who knows Whats lurking outside

I have to wonder though. The mc said you never truly win the game. But how true is that? After all they did mess up on the second part of the game itself. Then they passed out from pain and woke up in our dimension without any effort on their part to come back. To be fair there is a chance that if you win the game then you exit without anything else happening. The mc messed up a few times so maybe that is why the guard is still following them? They did say that was a possibility when you mess up. That or the guard was trying to return his wallet or something?

Maybe but even if he broke some rules he still won isnt that a bit weird he broke the rules and he still won and something grabbed him to the door even if you win without missing up its impossible because you at least gotta miss up once to get to the door so you truly never win the game by having to break a rule this is what I think

Mc mentions that the guard must KNOW where he is because he is always facing "away" from him. The guard was facing "away" even when he found him, the guard sees from the back most likely. At the start of the game, the guard faces away from you, he sees you before you can hide. Even if he doesnt see through the back of his head, he knows you are there, since he faces away at all times

Wow the guy that wrote this story just about nailed it. He talked about being handled a death sentence. November 17th 2018, after I awoke from brain surgery I was told that I had brain cancer. They said that they were able to get it all but I’ve heard that before. Well I guess the stroke I had was a blessing in disguise. If I hadn’t been the stroke I would be a dead woman walking. The only reason they found the cancerous brain tumor was because I had the stroke. I went through 2 and a half years of chemo treatments. I’m still terrified of it coming back. I’m sorry I don’t want to talk about anything soon and gloom. I think my positive attitude is one of the reasons I’m now considered to be in remission. Yet I’m still terrified. You don’t hear everyday someone beat brain cancer.

Yeah the guard is backwards seeing them through the back of his head. So when you start the game "seeing the guard is the first sign the game started" but he's backwards so you lose instantly. This is designed so that later in the game you have the dark realization the character did, that "if his back is somehow always facing you, that means he already knew where you were to begin with, meaning he can see you, meaning you already lost" that was a really good trick.

I think I' m slowly getting cray- cray.....I found myself voicing different ( mostly female or not determined) characters in my kitchen, growling, howling whispering, gutteral as my fragile body can be....at 4:40 am ....Just to try. The game tricked him into thinking he could win because we humans know that if someone's back is turned to us, then that person can't see us, but actually the moment he saw the security guard with his back turned he had already lost. So when the security guard turned around it was only part of the trick. Two other details prove that the security guard has eyes on the back of his head: 1, he grabbed the narrator's ankle with his back turned, 2, he walked fast towards the narrator still with his back turned.
